Dawn slowly rose coating the sky in a gentle pinkish hue. Deep in the forest still hidden away in the boulder den, a certain yellow mech stirs awake. Blinking back the sleepy static Bumblebee gave a light wince. Frame still tender from the pervious night though he knew who to blame for that.

Turning his gaze lower Bee would be greeted by a tiny face. Snuggling closely still deep in recharge was a sparkling, his sparkling. Who surprised him by making their grand emergence the night before. Reaching out with a digit Bumblebee would carefully brush it along the sparkling's cheek. His spark growing warm as a light coo escaped the bittie. It's hard to believe he made this, one perfect bitlet.

"You have my smile" Bumblebee softly hummed as he used his digit to lightly pet his sparkling's cheek. Warmth continued to bloom as two bright optics blinked up at him, unfocused but full of trust and admiration. "Blue, huh?"

Bee's optics softened as he inspected his sparkling further. Light blue protoform with matching teal optics, it was no secret who their sire was. But that was a problem for another time, right now they needed to get back to the barn and looked over by a medic.

The walk home was mostly uneventful other than a quick stop to fuel up. After a bit more walking the barn came into view. Outside the cows lazily mooed as they grazed under the shade of the apple orchard. Near by the tarrens hovered outside worry on their faces, as they talked among themselves, likely wondering where their mentor had vanished too. Bumblebee just lightly shook his helm as a proud smile fell on his lips.

At least they have taken some parts of their training seriously.

Twitch was the first to notice them. Her face lighting up as she rushed over, field buzzing with joy and relief. However her expression turned from joy to confusion once her amber optics landed on the small shape in her mentor's arms.

"Who's that?" Twitch pointed at the sparkling before looking up at Bumblebee. "Did you find another Terran! Do we have a new sibling!?"

"Not quite" Adjusting his grip he allowed Twitch to get a better look at the small bundle. Optics softening as he watched the red youngling stand on her tip toes to get a better look. "I made him"

Twitch's smile grew as she continued to watch her new cousin chew on his own servo. "Wow, I guess that makes you a Mom now" She then gasped. "Does this mean you and Mom get to share mother's day? Can we help out with the presents and stuff, I promise it will be better than last time!" She was practically buzzing with excitement.

Bumblebee just lightly chuckled before shaking his helm. "It will be awhile before he can give me any presents, but thank you Twitch"

"Oh..." Twitch's shoulder sank in disappointment. Thankfully it didn't last as a new question quickly took over her processor. "What's his name?"

"I was thinking-" Bee's gaze returned to his sparkling. With a gentle hum he lightly nuzzled his sparkling's cheek, making them giggle. "Rubble"

"That's a nice name" Twitch gave her own laugh before reaching out with a servo. Her field growing soft with warmth as the even smaller servo grabbed hers. "Welcome to the Malto family, little Rubble"
