Canon Luly is 6 years younger than Marco so in this AU he'd be around Marco's age and instead of the Donquixote Crew, it would be Marco and the Whitebeard Crew that take Luly away from his home island Cantabella

The Marco last name reveal keeps fueling me. Luly would take Marco's last name legally when they get married, but he'd still use van Kalayan mostly. It's his name, that's how ppl know him and it's connected to his music. He wouldn't want to entirely give up on it, despite his family's diapproval of him and his life choices.
