Maybe all the priests are attracted to Arthur because he has the presence of a god in him, and they can see his (un)holy aura-
love love love me a heavily scarred man barely keeping it together telling uncaring, devouring gods to go fuck themselves
i dont care if this is a horror pod, i want them to have a beach episode
I don’t know if I; a) care about my favourite media anymore b) can be strong enough to stay with it or c) want to ignore everything after season 3 and continue to exist
My feelings on my malevolent catch up;
Part 40 I and II was very interesting. in places it felt far too fast and in others felt drawn out. Season finale pacing can be very difficult so i can understand that, but it really seemed like all of our problems and enemies where just taken care of way too quickly for how long we've been dealing with them.
Intermezzo was fun i suppose. I liked getting to learn more about Kayne and just seeing more of his chaotic nature. But I mean that was about it. Bonus points for music puns. And i guess the john Arthur betrayal part ?? they fight a lot. i was not surprised.
Part 41 Medieval England was a massive jump and just like feels weird to me? Like. yes get the black stone, avoid eternal torture, but i feel like that's kind of masking like HOW they got there. like the notion of eternal torment for the boys and their loved ones is just a way to cover up the giant talk of other dimensions and alternate realities. Idk it just feels like it was so easily accepted. The world building is getting lost for me. But there's an owl ig
Part 42: Okay so flesh wall?? that was i mean really good sound effects 10/10 but like; Flesh wall? a literal zombie?? 1300s England? I'm sure I'm being weird and it'll get explained later but for the moment I'm just like ??? It just feels like a weird doctor who episode but they never explain how they got there and what's actually happening. I do think its funny how The Mouth (i cannot spell his name I've tried many times) calls john 'my king' and its just kind of funny how john reacts to it. its on par to the way like people will sarcastically refer to someone as king/queen (maybe that's my circle i am a theater kid) kind of like "yes king pop off" its a similar vibe to me at least. and i wouldn't have it any other way. I do enjoy how he unites john and Arthur by like being so annoying to both of them like lol the boys are in sync for once.
Those are just my feelings about what i listened to today. I'm feeling...underwhelmed. It felt like a task where as i used to get so excited to listen to a new episode. i really hope this season picks up the pace and quickly.
