Tonight we learned:
- that’s she’s really drunk - that I need to shut the fuck up - that I’m really funny (a major lie) - that we could wake up our sleeping parents at any moment with that damn hall door open (a major truth) - how to make a margarita with mystery alcohol - that she can’t use the microwave - that yes you DID try to make popcorn -that yes it really is 2:10 a.m. - that you only need to put popcorn in the microwave for 45 seconds rather than for 3 minutes and 10 seconds - that one should always put halibut in one’s popcorn - that 13 Reasons Why is a horrible show - that I need to meet her boyfriend right this minute - that said boyfriend is really good with our mom - that said boyfriend would love me - my sister had a horrible Christmas last year and is wasn’t my fault - my mental illness isn’t my fault - my mental illness is no one’s fault - my mental illness is in fact at fault of one Donald Trump - we as a family need to meditate - that I can talk to her about my problems - that she can talk to me about her problems - that Donald Trumps orange skin is a mystery that no one can solve - that she can’t turn on the stove - that she CAN with my help - that she forgot how to make an egg - that the pan for the egg she was going to make sat on the unheated stovetop for two hours while we had a heart to heart - that I’m the best sister for getting proper food, liquids, and Advil in her before she went to bed - that she doesn’t want me to be an adult - that being the adult is her job - that yes it’s really 4:14 a.m. - that yes both really do need to get to bed
