Bellow diamond week, day 3: Ball/Party: Slumber party
Okay, I’m not really sure if this counts as a “party”, but I’ve been wanting to do this for so long, and I wanted to try something different, I read most of the Bellow diamond week fanfics for this day and most of them seem to be about like, almost birthday party parties, not that there’s anything wrong with them, I’m just no good at writing fanfics like the ones I’m seeing.
Steven sent a message to the diamonds a week ago saying he was going to be coming to visit them just because he missed them, this caused them to panic because they had been waiting so long for him to visit, they assumed he never would so they turned his mom’s palace into a storage closet.
When he landed and hugged them, he asked where he would be staying, this just made all of them tense up, not wanting to tell him their great big screw up.
“Well you see Steven, the thing is...” Blue stuttered nervously, pressing her finger tips together.
“...You have to understand with how long you were gone, we thought you’d never be coming here again, so we...”
“...The truth is Steven, we turned your palace into a closet, PLEASE DON’T BE MAD AT US!” Yellow begged Steven to understand their reasoning and to still stay.
Instead of being mad, like they were expecting, he just told them to not worry about it and said he’ll just have to sleep with one of them. Not a second later all three of of them were yelling: “Pick me, pick me pick me!”
“What!? White why he want to sleep with you!? You nearly killed him for stars sake!”
“Oh aren’t we being a hipocrite miss stomped-on-him-and-made-his-friend-think-he-was-dead diamond!”
“Well it’s not as bad as what Blue did, she stole the most important person in his life know as his dad!”
“Hey!”
“Sorry I couldn’t think of any more for White!”
“Well how about the fact that she controlled us AND Steven’s friends and family, and in my defense, I didn’t even know Steven was ALIVE or that he had any connection to Greg!”
Very quickly they started arguing and insulting one another over why he shouldn’t sleep with them.
“Everybody QUIET!!!” Steven yelled as he threw two shields in front of their faces, not close enough to hit them, but enough to get their attentions, all three of them just snapped their mouths shut and turned to Steven.
“Look, if this is going to be a problem, why don’t we just have a slumber party? White, you told me in a text once you were reading up a lot on Earth customs so you should know what I’m talking about right?”
“Well I got the main parts down, basically we all stay in one room for the night, and we play games and watch movies until we go to sleep in the same bed.”
Steven confirmed everything White said and surprised her with how accurate she was, given she only read a little bit. Everyone else agreed this might work, so now the only question was: who’s room do they sleep in?
“Well I guess we should stay with whoever has the biggest bed, since you three all need to sleep in it.”
“Well in that case, White automatically wins, she has this massive canopy and basically 50 pillows.”
When they got to White’s room, just like Yellow said: a canopy high enough to let her jump on it without hitting the top, and pillows piled up with plush toys of aliens from her colonies.
First thing Steven did was run up to her bed and jump into the massive pile of pillows and toys, they were SOOOOO soft, while lounging around in one of the toys arms he turned to White and said:
“Hey White, you never said you had toys, I didn’t even know Homeworld MAKES them.”
“They don’t, I made them myself just for something to sleep with, I heard they do it on Earth too, and when I tried it out it really helped.”
“Well they look really good, almost exactly like the ones you see on Earth.” Steven commented as he looked at the stitches. White blushed and thanked him for the compliment.
All three of them then walked over and sat down on the bed, flashing on their PJ’s, Blue had a long dark blue nightgown that went up to past her knees, the neckline was very low and showed a bit of cleavage, from her stomach up was a lighter blue around the neckline, the sleeves were also dark blue and she had nothing on her feet.
Yellow just wore a simple button up shirt with pants, they both had sparkling gold colored leaves and vines all over them, while the rest of it was just a normal yellow, around the same color as her gem, the sleeves went past her finger tips and she had a folded down collar.
White had a gorgeous satin white, sleeveless, ankle long nightgown with the neckline going to around her arm pits and a lace trim around it, Steven couldn’t help but comment on why she still had her goddess like shoes on, she said she couldn’t think of anything else that wouldn’t look stupid with what she was wearing.
For a short time they just spent the time telling one another stories about their worlds, eventually White got bored with this and suggested:
“Okay telling stories is great, but a slumber party wouldn’t really be complete without a...PILLOW FIGHT!”
She smacked Yellow and Blue in the head with pillows and gave one to Steven, already choosing sides, Yellow and Blue got up and said she was going to regret that.
Before long all four of them were running around smacking each other with pillows, trying to make the other team give up, eventually White and Steven had chased Blue into a corner of the room and raised their pillows above their heads to beat the daylights outta her, until she screamed: “YELLOWWWWW!!!” next thing they knew Yellow ran in and smacked White in the head, causing her to fall to the floor, and she just smacked Steven towards her.
“White are you okay?” he asked making sure she didn’t hurt herself from getting her face smashed into the floor.
“Ugh, I think I got attacked by a pillow monster.” she said playfully before her and Steven were being bombarded with pillows to the head, both of them screamed playfully and tried to run and hide behind her bed, only to be followed, eventually they were able to build a pillow fort and couldn’t be attacked any more but also couldn’t attack Yellow and Blue unless 1. they leave, which was not an option, or 2. they wait for them to come and corner them in their fort and HOPE they can land a few hits before they can’t move from laughing.
“Okay White, we need a plan, if we want any chance at beating these two, we need to find a way to immobilize them like they did us.”
“Yeah but how? We’re trapped in here, and they’re waiting for us out there, we need to find a way to get them here without becoming sitting ducks, in Earth words.”
After a bit of whispering in the fort, Yellow and Blue decided to make their move, realizing if they wait too long, White and Steven will have already come up with a plan and they’d lose the fight, both of them snuck up behind the fort ready to jump in front and surprise them, but when they looked, they weren’t there, however, unknown to them behind them, they were about to be swarmed with pillows.
White knocked their pillows out of their hands and then her and Steven just went crazy attacking them, White sat on both of them and didn’t let them get up and run, both of them were trying to block the pillows with their hands but were laughing too much, so instead they tried to move White, but moving someone who’s already heavier than you is hard enough when you’re JUST in panic mode, it’s impossible when you’re laughing.
Eventually Blue just gave up and said while still laughing: “Okay okay okay, we forfeit!” When Steven and White heard those words, their faces just lit up and they jumped around cheering about how they had them so utterly spent and exhausted, Yellow however didn’t take so well to Blue making them lose.
“Blue, why did you say we forfeit? We could’ve won!!”
“Yeah right, we couldn’t move White at all, we lost our pillows, and we were laughing like maniacs, do you honestly believe we could’ve won?”
“......okay fine, no we couldn’t have, I just wanted to impress you since White’s kinda the Earth expert here, I just wanted to prove I could do something from Earth better than she can.” Yellow confessed as she gave a sorrowful look towards the floor.
“Yellow even though we didn’t win, I was still impressed at how we had them cornered, how YOU had them cornered.” Blue leaned in and Yellow’s face heated up, she eventually felt Blue’s lips on hers, moaning quietly and returning the kiss.
White and Steven stopped their celebrating and turned their heads, only for White to blush and go mama mode on Steven and cover his eyes.
Steven sputtered and pushed White’s hand down to look. “Oh come on White, I married Ruby and Sapphire, you think I haven’t seen this before?”
“I know that, I just did it to bug you.” She said with a playful smirk, causing Steven to laugh a little.
