Ash was not at all excited, and he wonders just why he agreed to this. Sitting in a chair as some lady carefully trims and tames his hair is not what he wanted to do. But, for some reason, he felt obligated. He wanted to leave that world behind, but sometimes, those things creep back into his life. His mother never forces him, and his aunt has long given up now. But sometimes, every so often, a mediocre need for a judge is requested. And in the region of Kanto, that usually means Ash. Kanto wasn’t known for performers or coordinators. Kanto didn’t have a dent in that market, but, it did have a pageant market that people begged for. And for this prize? Ash could grimace. He probably did. The winner was to be in some stupid new movie starring some movie heart throb. He doesn’t know. Said heart throb was no where to be seen, and Ash envied him. He didn’t have to show his face. Instead, the little boy who was plastered in cereal commercials was in his place, set to judge all the wannabes.
“Ladies and Gentlemen!” A loud voice announces. “Welcome to the Princess of Kanto competition! And of course, we have our special guest judge, making his first debut in years, the Prince of Kanto!”
“You’re ready Ashton,” a voice whispers, pushing the boy on stage. He wonders how he gets roped into these things. Then his eyes lock with a maroon haired woman.
Oh, this is going to be good....He’s just glad he’s not very recognizable.
