Love in Different Shapes

“Where is (Y/n), Gon, and Killua? We were supposed to meet them here,” Kurapika said looking at the time.

Leorio also looked impatient. Not because of the mission they had to do or because they were late (though it does irk him a bit), but because he wanted more time with (Y/n). She was just too sweet….he plans on asking her out! No backing down! His flirting game is now on!

“Lee! Pika! We’re heeeeeere~” (Y/n) said as she walked over to them, “Sorry! We saw this awesome candy shop and we just HAD to stop and check it out!” Gon had a huge lollipop while Killua was munching on those ChocoRobo-kun chocolate balls.

“(Y/n)! Stop spoiling them,” Kurapika shouted.

(Y/n) stuck her tongue out and shrugged, “My bad Mamapika….no harm done in giving the boys a little special something. I got something for everyone else too! Even a med kit! Just in case y’know?” Kurapika tried to say something but sighed. He really can’t argue with that.

Leorio pushed him aside, “ANYWAYS. Let’s discuss more pressing matters,” He took her hands and pressed them to his chest, “(Y/n)! I would love to spend more time with you! Would you like to go out with me?!”

(Y/n) stared at him, “Well….let’s have fun on the mission, k? I’d love to hang out with my friends as well!”

The ‘friends’ hit him in the face like an arrow. That’s all he’s seen as? Friends?! The answer was so simple….so nonchalant. He won’t back down! He won’t let this setback get him downhearted!

“I will confess my love for you (Y/n)-Chan and I will be your lover,” Leorio said proudly.

“Dude….she left already,” Killua said pointing back to her retreating form.

“Wait for me (Y/n)-Chaaaaaaan,” Leorio said running after her. Everyone sweat dropped as they watched but they laugh it off and run to catch up.

Everyone was exhausted after the mission, laying around the hotel room like logs. (Y/n) was bandaging up Gon’s knee after he scrapped it.

“It’s ok Gon. You’re tough and can handle anything,” (Y/n) said to cheer him up.

“Like a boulder,” Gon said proudly. (Y/n) giggled at Gon’s enthusiasm. She loved how quickly he can recover. She finished properly wrapping his knee up.

“There! All better! Good jo-oop” She was interrupted by Gon’s hug.

“Thanks Onee-san,” He said happily.

(Y/n) smiled sweetly before returning the hug, “No problem kiddo!”

She happily watched as he went to Killua to play. She wasn’t done yet, she had to check on Kurapika and Leorio before resting. She shook her head, already expecting some trouble ahead. Sure enough once she peeked in their room, they were butting heads and you could practically see static forming from their clashing glares.

“Can you just turn off the lights?! I’m tired and I can’t sleep with all the lights on,” Kurapika shouted.

“It’s only 8:00pm!!! And I need light to read to read my book! Not my fault you’re tired Grandma,” Leorio retorted.

(Y/n) giggled sensing their nen rising as they were about to fight. She quickly used her nen ability when they were about to fight and used it on some pillows. She swung the pillows around and threw it. It ZOOMED across the room and before Kurapika or Leorio could react on time, it smacked them both across the face, sending them flying on their bums. It successfully stopping their abilities before they used it on each other.

“You boys are such dummies. No more fighting, k~?” She simply said with a laugh.

Killua and Gon also saw what happened, “Pillow fight?!”

Kurapika panicked, “W-What?! No-!”

“Pillow fiiiiiiiiight,” (Y/n) shouted as well.

It was pure chaos of pillows and feathers as they had a pillow free-for-all. Eventually everyone just slowly got too tired, Killua and Gon just passing out mid-way while Kurapika was asleep after being buried in pillows. Leorio was blushing and had a nosebleed as (Y/n) fell asleep on him. Though….he was still upset he failed to ask her out. He sighed and caressed her sleeping face.

“Man I suck at these sort of things….you’re just so cute and caring for others, I get all excited just to see you smiling at me that I’m at lost for words,” He sighed before laying back, “I just wanted to tell you how much I love you.”

“Why didn’t you just say so?”

He jumped out his skin. He looked down to see (Y/n) rubbing her eyes but looking up at him, “Y-Y-Y-You heard me?!”

“Yeah? Leorio….you know I love you too right? I always did….,” She said. Leorio sat up, his heart thumping and smiling widely.

“Really?! You really do?!” He asked excitedly.

(Y/n) giggled, still holding Leorio tightly, “Of course I do Lee….you guys are like family to me!” You could practically hear glass shattering as his hopes came crashing down. “Mmmm I’m still tired….nighty night Lee. Sleep well ok? And we’ll hang out more tomorrow, k~?” She fell asleep right away.

Gon, Killua, and Kurapika stared at Leorio. He glared at them, “THE HELL YOU LOOKING AT-?!”

They look away quickly while Gon just patted his back, “It’s ok Leorio. At least she loves you back!” Leorio understood that Gon was just trying to cheer him up so he just sighs and enjoys the moment.
