Il y a 97 ans: Le 9 decembre 1919, Aujourd'hui Marianne princesse de Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn célèbre son 97e anniversaire. Né le 9 Décembre 1919, elle commence à photographier son environnement à l'âge de neuf ans. Des années plus tard, Lilli Palmer, une actrice allemande, lui conseille de faire de la photographie une profession. Le surnom «Mamarazza» lui a été donné par la princesse Caroline de Monaco, qui lui dit: »Manni, vous êtes vraiment une Mamarazza«. Grâce à l'intervention de Karl Lagerfeld, ses photographies sont publiées en 2000 chez Steidl. En 2005, des photographies en noir et blanc sont présentées à la Galerie Budja Rudolf à Vienne. L’exposition SAYNERZEIT éclaire la vie de la famille royale pendant la guerre, la reconstruction et du Wirtschaftswunder entre 1941 à 1961.

The nickname »Mamarazza« was given to her by the Princess Caroline of Monaco who once said to her: »Manni, you are a real Mamarazza«. Through the intervention of Karl Lagerfeld, her photographies are published 2000 at Steidl. In 2005, black and white photographs are shown at the Rudolf Budja Gallery in Vienna. The exhibiton SAYNERZEIT illuminates the life of the royal family during the war, the reconstruction and the Wirtschaftswunders from the time 1941to1961.
