Thursday Truth: having pics taken by a photographer who I just met and acting “natural” is something I surely don’t love 😳, BUT what a fun fashion filled day with some beautiful ladies it was!! Playing dress up with other mamas, laughing while trying to figure out how to smile & pose without it looking so staged (c’mon bloggers what are your tips?! 😳), was something that definitely took me out of my comfort zone for sure! Peace, Love & Valor

The ripples of stress in my life have the potential to knock me off my foundation if I don’t remain grounded. I learned this recently when my roots were pulled out one by one over a few years of steady stress, crisis periods, extreme caregiving , depression and fear. Lack of self care allowed the ground to dry making it easy for the roots to give way. Now I was walking with a cane, in pain, with no energy. You must “take care of yourself” they all said… as if it were easy. “Self Care!” they all said. You know like on the airplane where you take the oxygen first. Yeah, yeah I responded.

Aha! My oils. They are the life blood of the plant. I have been in a rut with them- like everything else. I opened my books and made a care plan. Valor.Endoflex .White Angelica.Frankincense.Abundance.Believe…Cool Azul pain relief cream and lots of NingxiaRed. Agilease and Multi-greens. And my homemade turmeric gelatin squares….

Physical therapy in the pool has graduated to Aqua Zumba. The cane is retired and my roots are firmly planted again in solid ground. The ripples of stress have continued, but the foundation is stronger. Now just the leaves blow.
