I just need to say thank you. Your memories and misadventures fic is so fricking good. Even though it being the first jiara fic I've ever read, it has really been my favorite. I just read the next chapter and you don't know how much joy it brings me. I can not wait for the next chapter, whenever that will be. But i just had to go on here and tell you that it is really amazing 😍😍😍

Just logged on to Ao3 and memories and misadventures was updated!!! Omg you can't imagine my excitement I love that fic . Chapter did not disappoint. I think your portrayal of jarah's relationship would be so accurate in future obx once the drama of fathers and lost treasure is over and they're just happy... I love it

When will the next chapter be out for the Slow burn from jiara bingo

so, it's definitely coming out at some point!! i have parts of that fic pre-written that I'm very very excited for!!

unfortunately, the next chapter opens with a scene with Kiara and her parents and uh, in the immediate aftermath of season 3, I am not so inclined to write the Carrera parents as anything other than scum of the earth. I opened the doc and looked at my outline for the chapter and thought "how the fuck am i supposed to make them get along"

Just finished the 3 chapters of "memories & misadventures at the beach dune cafe" and I'm desperate to know if you're still writing it. You write the pouges so well I was literally tearing up with laughter at some of the sequences

I am absolutely still writing it!!! I have had this idea in my head for a very long time and i'm slowly putting it to paper, lol. The next chapter is nowhere near ready but I've been like a woman possessed the last few weeks, so maybe I'll just sit down some day and put a couple thousand words in a doc and we'll go from there.

Are you still planning on writing the sequel to pltc, mamba? Just finished pltc and it. was. lifechanging! Loved it so much, you are amazing! In one of your really old posts you said you were working on a sequel, but I don’t see it on your Ao3? No pressure if you decided you’re done w that universe, obviously, I just mainly want to let you know that you’re such a phenomenal writer and your story made me so so so happy!!!

hello!! you are so kind alkjdfhlkasjdf and I'm so so glad you liked pltc ❤️❤️❤️ I do have a sequel with an acronym so long I shorten it to mamba in my own head 🤡🤡🤡 I haven't posted any of it to ao3 yet, but I do have the prologue and the first chapter-ish nearly finished!! I want to get some more of it written before I publish it so you don't have to wait decades between updates (lol @ some of my current wips) but it will eventually be posted!!

Mamatbdc?

mamatbdc is the sequel to pltc!!! It stands for memories and misadventures at the beach dune cafe and for some reason, I now call it “mamba” in my head. basically, the Pogues split up after high school and then all end up back on Kildare island a few years later. they have... quite a bit to talk about and a lot of margaritas to drink, lol. 

here’s a little snippet:

After the HMS Pogue officially shits the bed, JJ declares they are going to find Kiara a new margarita place. They toast to Bobby’s, and then begin the arduous process of drinking every margarita available on Kildare. They start out at The Champagne Ship, a glitzy bar that overlooks the water on Figure Eight. Kiara is wary when the bartender doesn’t ask if she wants salt on the rim, and completely loses hope when he brings over the dinkiest little cup she’s ever seen. Bobby’s used to sell margaritas in fucking goblets, large enough to keep Kiara preoccupied for most of the night. This small cup of tequila and lime is not enough to please her, nor is it worthy of the twenty dollar price tag. Kiara complains about it loudly after her third glass, while JJ alternates laughing and trying to shut her up.

ahhh first of all thank you SO much, I'm so glad you like it 💛💛💛and hopefully the next chapter will come sometime soon-ish!!! I have some chapters I'm really excited to write, but it's a matter of timing at this point. I think I'm gonna focus on finishing the prom fic first (and maybe getting a Christmas fic out too) and then I'll turn my attention back to finishing memories and misadventures

i'm not sure!! i've barely started writing it and i'm shifting my focus a little bit to jiara week fics, but I am excited to get the next chapter out so who knows!! my inspiration strikes at random and often inopportune times lmao.
