Near the end of 2022, I finally started focusing on improving (although it’s more fitting to call it learning.) 

I spent a lot of time doing art studies and break downs now which so far has been helping me make strides. 

Counterintuitively, it becomes more frustrating as I learn more basics. As I understand the reasoning behind what goes where and what follows what rule, I can’t help but feel aggravated when I’m hit with a simple skill check. Obviously it’s something that I’ll get over as I improve and continue having breakthroughs. But you can’t blame a man for scowling when he gets kicked.

This does mark the end of 2022.

I’d love to be bold and claim that I’ll have a ton of cool new things to show this year, however; due to the fact I spend almost all my drawing time on studying, most of it is not worth sharing. Perhaps attaching exceedingly long walls of text to my posts, explaining what I learned and what techniques I used, would be helpful to me and possibly someone else who is trying to tackle the basics of art.

I've seen loads of people theorise that Sun and Moon essentially have a panic attack continually switching between each other if they are in dim light, and ya thats a really funny to me too, but I have a maybe more realistic(?) idea on it~!

Headcanon: in dim lighting Sun and Moon have free choice over who gets to be activated at any given moment, but their AI inspects there situation and automatically decides who should be active~ 

(like if there's a kid full on sobbing Sun would most likely activate, but if that same child is known to prefer Moon then it would activate)

~but they more or less are able to switch at will, and can probably suppress each other, 

Imagine: its naptime at the daycare but instead of the full naptime process going through the lights just dim while the daycare theme goes off, Sun, instead of reporting this or letting Moon do his job, instead chooses to keep playing and entertaining the kids, while Moon is like yelling at him in the background of his mind,,, And because all the kids in the daycare are so young a lot of them end up later falling asleep anyways, and then after naptime ends all of the kids are tired and/or sleeping so Sun ends up just 🧍 and doesn't know what to do
