Just realized the Hellgramut (sp?) and Dr. Legume scene in the tower was kinda the boys recreating Man Vs. Bee
Using my time machine to show Diogenes the cynic the 2023 Rowan Atkinson vehicle Man vs Bee, because I think he'd love a comedy about a rich man's home and treasury being destroyed by a bungling servant fighting a tiny harmless animal and its allegory for the inevitable march of entropy and death, BRB.
Just watched Man vs Bee, and I have never seen a show with stronger "fake show that characters in a real show are watching" vibes than this.
It's the kind of show they would make in Bojack Horseman.
In terms of farfetched films, 'Mouse Hunt' was already quite a stretch; did we really need to see Mr Bean get fucking decimated by a bee?
The Snickers commercials hadthe idea of this ninja clan that just decided to keep Mr. Bean with them and I love it
What if they keep him cuz despite his goofy nature he SOMEHOW always gets the job done in the weirdest ways imaginable (true to canon btw)
