Soundwave tried not to let his fond attachment to sparklings cloud his loyalty to Megatron. But then Megatron decided to perform shadowplay on his own daughter, his sole heir, and that was when Soundwave’s devotion started to fade and he began questioning his supreme leader.

Let’s not give Megatron a redemption arc in this AU.
