Scum Manifesto, Valerie Solonas, 1967
Next time I hear a leftist say, "I hate all men," or even just, "I hate men," I'm gonna hit them with the "Damn, dude, that's pretty transphobic" shut down and just watch them fall apart as they try to either admit that they didn't see trans men as men, OR try to say that they do also hate all trans men in addition to all cis men.
I don't care if you're "venting." You can relieve stress without turning into a bigot. People do it all the time.
"In every case, I have used the discourse of men as a source, without distorting it. I have said what men say about women, about the nature of sex, about the nature of nature. The men remain cultural heroes, promethean truth-tellers; surely they mean no harm. I am excoriated (surely I mean some harm) for saying what they say but framing it in a new frame, one that shows consequences to women. The ones they do it to have been left out. I put the ones they do it to back in. In exposing the hate men have for women, it is as if it becomes mine. To say what they do is to be what they are, except that they are entitled, they are right, in what they do and what they say and how they feel. Maybe they are tragic but they are never responsible: for being mean or cruel or stupid. When they advocate rape, that is normal and neutral. When I say they advocate rape, I am engaging in the equivalent of a blood-libel (this is the meaning of the “man-hating” charge); I slander them as if I invented the sadism, the brutality, the exploitation, that they engage in and defend."

Her words are relevant even now.
Feminism is a Cancer that has done more harm than good. Only Feminists don’t understand this.
YES
IT FINALLY HAPPENED
SOMEONE CALLED OUR PODCAST MAN-HATING! [throws up a handful of ash as confetti]
All jokes aside, it is frustrating to be accused of this for a mild depiction of what happens to sex workers and for having plots centered around things that actually happen to women every day.
And that the recurring guest star is black, empathetic male character is a problem for being “submissive”. Wow. Just wow.
so i was just setting up for houston pride (maybe like three hours ago at this point), and i was trying to get to know one of the other volunteers so we were asking each other “would you rather” questions.
jokingly, i asked, “jake paul or logan paul?”
and she goes, “ew, fucking neither. i don’t trust any white man.”
and i kinda chuckled before saying, “i mean, i’m a half-white guy and i’m not that bad, am i?”
and she said, “yeah, but you’re different from cis guys. you’re trans so you’re not gross like them.”
honestly, i wish i was making this up. but more than anything else, i wish i was as brave in real life as i was online. i wish i hadn’t laughed it off.
i’m not different from other guys. i’m just a guy. we aren’t your enemies.
