damien was born and raised in cork, his family was nothing more than a few common folk that lived in the area, his dad farmed, mother worked at home as a stay at home mom.

damien went to university for business, wanting to know all the craziness that went behind it - not to mention, it got him a lot of money if he played his cards right and worked for the right people.

his 20s were a blur, lots of partying, studying and falling in love with people in uni, but surprisingly enough damien managed to graduate along side his bride to be.

college sweethearts were married a year after getting out of university, damien was living his absolute best life. everything was going perfect, his job, his home, his marriage. it was as if he won the lottery.

but with good business means promotions and promoting a man in business, damien was traveling all over the world representing his company until he reached the highest possible promotion one could get. he was making great money, enough to fly anywhere and do anything that he wanted to do - you know, if he could get the time to do it.

given that he was away more than he was at home, his wife started seeking comfort and attention from another man. his brother, gerald. and when the man was gone for a month on business and came back home he was met with a very pregnant wife and divorce papers.

his mental health started to decline, he went into a depression and that of course started effecting his work performance, leading him to be demoted time and time again until he was just asked to leave.

he moved away from cork, figuring that if he cashed out his 401k and savings, he could find anywhere to go that was in the place he once considered home.

he moved to manchester to start new, even landing a job in the university to teach about the marketing side of business. now he’s looking for a roommate and a fresh start, the only question is, will he allow himself to be happy once again?

hello guys! i'm admin corrie, and i'm gonna be playing phoebe. little bit of info on me, i’ve lived in manchester for a few years and so, if you need any info on the area, i’m ya girl. i currently work in retail so catch me complaining about being up at dumb times of the day. i’m also a big fan of animal crossing, the colour mustard yellow and dogs. ANYWAYS, enough about me, undercut is all the info you need on phoebe: 

phoebe is orignally from west yorkshire and moved to manchester to study at the univeristy of salford.  

she comes from quite a normally middle class background, she’s the middle child of three siblings. 

she’s got an older brother and a younger sister, she adores them both very much. 

she studied psychology for three years and came out with a first!! she’s very smart!!

she’s that one friend u have that’s weirdly obessed with crime TV shows and u can’t decided if u should be worried about her or let her be.

once she’d finished up univeristy she was like...i dunno what i want to do with my life. 

she struggled to find any jobs in her chosen field of study, so she got a job in the indie / alt indoor market that is afflecks

she currently works as a cashier in one of the little vintage shops in the building. 

she lives in a house, just on the edge of manchester with some housemates and they are all living their best lives. 

the group all met at uni and have since become super close. 

when she’s not at work she’s just doing dumb stuff, seeing friends, going out for coffee or going on nights out. 

she’s very much away with the fairies and if u go into her bedroom it’s a mess. 

she’s currently loving her life but she does feel a little bit lost and kinda wishes maybe she took a different path in life, something a bit more creative.

overall she’s a very wholesome little bean, who is just getting used to stepping out into the world on her own and living her best life

▼ BACKGROUND

Avery was born in Bordeaux, France in the early summer morning. She was the youngest of the three Iglesias children and while her parents had wanted a baby, wanted her, she was not the saving grace her parents were hoping for. Then again, having a child to save a marriage never works out well.

She had always been an overachiever when it came to school and was at the top of her class. When she was in the second grade, her teachers noticed she was bored in school and gave the Iglesias two options. Either put her in a different school, one that would be more challenging for her, or they could put her in a higher grade. They went with moving her up a few grades, putting the eight year old in the fifth grade with one of her older siblings

After that, things seemed to change for Avery and the rest of her family. While the siblings sat and did homework together at their kitchen table, ten feet away their parents were arguing. The fighting had always been there, they just did a better job at hiding it when around their children. And while the grades of her siblings started to slip, Avery’s were where they always had been: at the top.

Despite them being unhappy, Avery’s parents didn’t file for divorce until she was fourteen. The whole process took a year and ended with the three children being asked who they would rather live with. It has been one of the most emotional days of her life, but while her siblings chose to stay in Bordeaux with their mom, Avery picked their dad and shortly after, they moved to Manchester.

Having already graduated high school by this point, Avery enrolled at The University of Manchester, working her way towards a degree in business management. She had done it mostly to appease her father but had no actual desire to do anything with it.

By the time she graduated, she had moved out on her own and with little career prospects, Avery had found herself waitressing at bars. It wasn’t until one night that she had been approached by an older gentleman, one she might not have actually given the time of day had it not been for his proposal. He needed a date to a family wedding so that he didn’t have to explain why  he was still single. She was about to say no when he offered her any amount of money. She had joked and said she would do it for $10K. She thought that was the last of it, but when he showed up the next day with a certified cheque, Avery couldn’t say no.

After that night she invested in herself. She created a website and started going on dates for money. Most might have classified her as a sugar baby or an escort, but Avery saw herself as a different breed. She never took presents from her clients nor did she sleep with any of them. That was her number one rule. But rules are made to be broken, right?

While most of her clients had been older and less confident in their looks, she had one client that was not like the rest. They were closer in age, though he was older and though he didn’t need any help getting a date, he had a problem finding someone who wasn’t using him for his money. And though he paid her usual rates, they had grown close and eventually, she stopped depositing the cheques. It wasn’t until about two years after he had become her client that they slept together. She had fallen in love and there was only one thing to do. Run.

She took down her website and changed her number and with no prospects when it came to work, Avery found herself at Obsession’s. She had enjoyed being in front of the crowd and even people liked to pass judgement on strippers, she was proud of her work.

Was born in Honolulu Hawaii but moved around a lot as a kid because he was an army brat. 

Always had a talent for art and constantly got in trouble for doodling on desks and other students at school

Barely scooted by in school, but he never really cared because he knew he wasn’t the type to go off to college, and with never staying in one place too long it was hard to keep up in school. 

After he turned 18 he continued moving around despite no longer living with his parents, he loved traveling and seeing different places in the world.

He was Twenty Three when he met and fell in love with a woman during a stay in England while he was working as a tattoo artists apprentice. They had a whirlwind romance that led to her getting pregnant and giving birth to his daughter Scout. Unfortunately the relationship fell apart over the course of the next few years leading to his girlfriend leaving and signing all parental rights over to Wolf--deciding she was too young to be tied down. 

His parents had settled in Manchester so he moved in with them while he focused on working as a tattoo artist until he had enough money saved up to afford his own place for him and his daughter. 

He took over the shop he was working at when the owner retired, turning it into the dream studio he always had envisioned.

born to a single mother, sasha spent most of her childhood watching her mother struggle to keep their tiny life afloat. she’d sit in the corner of the salon her mother worked in, singing along quietly to the radio every day after school as a child. there was no mention of her father, her mother refusing to acknowledge the man that wasn’t in their life. sasha would only find out later that her father had been in prison all those years, her mother forbading her to have any kind of contact with him. it put a strain on their already tense relationship. 

their two personalities had always clashed. her mother was practical and did what she could to put food on the table, but sasha had never been that way. she dreamt of a different life, a better one. she wanted to be singer, to be famous and have everyone in the world know her name. she’d been singing all her life, despite not having any actual professional experience. she was accepted into the royal academy of music, thrilled that she was one step closer to reaching her dream. the only problem was, she didn’t have the money to pay for it, nor did she have her mother’s support. frustrated, moved away from her mother, taking up odd jobs in the city to pay for her tiny apartment. 

it was a few years later when she started working at obsessions. it wasn’t to say she had a thing for her boss, but he was certainly attractive enough to catch her attention

sasha’s somewhat difficult upbringing definitely had foreshadowed the person she’d become. she had a habit of doing whatever it took to be out on top, never wanting to remember the life she had as a child. somewhere along the way, she became devious in other aspects as well. she had this charm to her, an alluring nature that almost always meant things went her way. if she wanted something, she took it, even if it meant hurting someone else. sasha just wasn’t programmed to think for anyone but herself.

though she did have her moments. It was always with the people closest to her, the times when her claws were retracted and her guard was down. she could be funny and protective and gentle. it was too bad so few people saw that side of her.

Hazel was born to a single mother who was a drug addict in London. It was very clear that she had no intention of trying to mother the child and abandoned Hazel as soon as she was able to leave the hospital. Neither Hazel or the woman who birthed her have tried to get in contact with one another. She has no desire to meet the woman.

A month after she was born, Hazel was adopted by a couple from Manchester. They raised her as if she was their own and despite the obvious differences between them, Hazel never questioned if they were her real family or not. 

She has one older sibling (a brother) and two younger siblings. She would give her life for any three of them and is ready to fight anyone who might try to hurt them.

Hazel is a very artsy person. She always excelled in it, however when given the chance to pursue it for a career, she turned down the opportunity. She wanted to continue to enjoy it and thought that if it became how she made her money she would begin to hate it.

She was scouted to become a model but decided against it. She does, however, bring this up in conversations whenever possible.

born into a dynasty of wealth, the harris name is likely known for their hotels across the world. each name specific and unique to it’s international city, it’s unlikely that you wouldn’t find a hotel in a well populated city, in almost any continent. will and his two younger siblings actually grew up in the edwardian until they were each teenagers, sent off to boarding school until they were 18. will went on to attend oxford, graduating with a degree in economics and management

it was only natural for the first born harris son to transition into managing the very hotel he was so well acquainted with. it had never been easy, but after his years of hard work, will was promoted to the ceo of the edwardian hotel at 30, responsible for running and managing it on a large scale.
