âWell⊠I just really wanted to honor grandma, ya know?â She smiled softly, tucking the stray strands of hair behind her ears and away from her face. âI was thinking good olâ cursive. Canât go wrong with that, right?â The question followed by a chuckle as she followed him over to the station and lifted her shoulders into a slight shrug. âI mean⊠a girl has to come prepared, right? Besides⊠I didnât say it wonât hurt at all⊠just go easy, Iâm a delicate girl.â
âThatâs sweet, I always liked tattoos with a meaning like that behind themâ He nodded with a slight smile. âSo something like....this?â He murmured as he quickly scribbled the name onto a piece of paper. âNot too loopy, just smooth and classicâ He turned it around to show her. âOh I can see that you are, but had to give you fair warning, tons of people come in here expecting one thing and then getting all pissed off at me when itâs actually painfulâ
âWhat can I say? Iâm all about⊠going big or going home.â She definitely was not. But Caroline liked to think she was good enough at pretending she knew what the hell she was getting herself into. She hadnât even known that getting a tattoo on her side was in the cards for today, but she was glad she hadnât worn a dress, thatâs for sure. Nodding her head, she stepped forward, glancing at the sketchpad before smiling. âThatâs perfect. See, I knew you had good judgement,â Caroline let out a laugh before glancing up at the much taller man.Â
âOh really?â He chuckled and shook his head as he pointed to the chair, âGo ahead make yourself comfortable while I make this a better sketch up and put it on some transfer paperâ He nodded. âIâll probably have you lay on your side, so choose which side you want and weâll get you into a comfortable position for me to get startedâÂ
Melody had never gotten a tattoo in her life and part of her was wondering why she was starting now. Either way, she found herself out of Wolfâs tattoo parlor with her small and simple request on hand. As she stepped inside, she tucked her hair behind both ears and smiled to the tall, muscular man and let out a light sigh. âI want Maria tattooed on my hip. Small enough that itâll stay hidden for the most part, but big enough to see. Itâs mi abuelitaâs nombre⊠and I want to honor her.â Sometimes she felt like her grandmother was guiding her through life as a mother should and she loved her a lot. âIâm Melody by the way,â she then took her jacket of to reveal her well put together outfit of a bralette and jeans. âMake sure it doesnât hurt, or Iâll have to hurt you..â her comment flirtatious as she gave him a wink and took a deep breath, quite nervous for her very first tattoo. // @tattoosbywolfâ
âWell Iâm glad you came in here with a very decided ideaâ He chuckled as he looked down at the woman with a nod. âThatâs easily do able...did you have the script or font youâd like it in?â He raised a brow as he motioned for her to follow him over to his station. Watching as she dropped her jacket he blinked a few time and nodded. âWell....you really did come preparedâ He shook his head before laughing. âDoll, it is a tattoo...so itâs not quite going to tickleâÂ
It was too late to back out now. Sure, for most people it would be easy, but Caroline had always had a pride problem. If she left now, sheâd be cursing herself for chickening out in the days to come. Despite his obvious disagreement, she shrugged her shoulders. âSure. You look like you have good judgement. Iâm very good at telling that kind of thing.â She liked to think she was, anyways. âIf I hate it, then Iâll just have a good story to tell if people ask about it. Just nothing⊠offense. Iâm thinking I want it right above my rib cage, somewhere discreet.â
âA first time tattoo and in one of the more sensitive places you could get one? Bold moves all around hereâ Wolf shook his head with a low chuckle as he moved over to his station to begin setting it up while he thought for a moment. âAlright then...It is a 60 pound minimum for any tattoos so thatâs what the price will be considering youâre thinking small.â He noted as he pulled out a pen and his sketch pad. âHow about....thisâ He murmured as he quickly drew out a doodle.
There was absolutely no reason for Caroline to be in front of a tattoo shop. Hell, sheâd never gotten a tattoo in her life, it only ever felt like something the younger version of her wouldâve done. Sometimes she missed how carefree she could be, how sheâd act on impulse and do what she wanted. Everything about Caroline felt so calculated, what she wore, what she said, how she acted. Sometimes it was exhausting. And when she did go out on a limb, it almost felt like she went too extreme. âSo hereâs the thing, Iâve never exactly gotten a tattoo before and I have no clue what I want,â she began, looking at the man in front of her. âSo, Iâd like you to pick out a tattoo for me.â Caroline had a unique skill of always coming off confident, when in reality, she too often had no clue what she was doing. @tattoosbywolfâ
On a daily basis Wolf got all sorts of odd requests, but he had to say that people requesting him to pick out a tattoo for them was one of his least favorites. It was such a permanent request, true they could always be covered up, but he still never liked it. âYou want me to pick out something to be permanently added to your body?â He raised a brow and shook his head. âI donât know about that doll..what if you hate it, then you have to either pay more to have it covered or live with itâ He noted
Tudor was a regular visitor at the Bright household, being the fun uncle to young Scout whom he adored with all his heart. He understood that it must be rough for Wolf to be raising his little girl on his own, so he helped her out as much as he could. As he had gotten out of work earlier than he had expected, he had stopped by the Siop Shop, picked up some treats for his niece and headed for his best friendâs house. He really did spoil Scout, which he knew that Wolf was not happy about. But then again, Scout adored him when he gave her treats so that was all he cared about. âScout tells me that she needs help with her chemistry homework. If I had the time, I would tutor her myself. But with my unpredictable work schedule, itâs highly unlikely that I would be able to help her on time. Do you want me to ask around for a tutor?â He asked his friend, watching his niece who was busy doing her homework while he grabbed himself one of the remaining donuts as a treat. // @tattoosbywolfâ
It wasnât any secret that Wolf was still trying to master the art of parenting a teenage girl, but having friends around to help him when needed was always something he was thankful for. Even if said friends spoiled his daughter beyond what even Wolf did. It was no surprise that when Tudor showed up that he came bearing treats. âYouâre just over here to try and make sure your position as Scoutâs favorite is sealedâ He shook his head with a laugh. âYeah...thatâd be great though, lord knows I donât have a clue about most of that stuff.â He motioned to her school books.  âAnd if you ever find some time to help her out Iâm sure sheâd prefer thatâ He nodded and ran a hand over his jaw slowly. âWhatâve you been up to lately man, other than work. You went to that Halloween thing right? How was it?â
Perhaps getting a tattoo would be the most rebellious thing that Diya would have done, at least according to her. But she wanted to honour her mother in some way. She had always wanted to get her motherâs initials tattooed on her wrist, needing to feel a sense of closeness towards her. Having lost her mother at the age of by and being subjected to the constant abuse of her grandmother ever since, she just wanted something to comemorate her mother. So, a rather nervous had Diya walked into Wolfâs tattoo parlour in hopes that the man would help her do just that. âHi⊠Iâm Diya and itâs actually my first time walking into a tattoo shop, so forgive me if I look a little out of place. But I was wondering if you could⊠help me come to a decision. Iâve been thinking about getting my motherâs initials tattooed on my wrist and I just needed to know⊠how that worked?â She asked, looking around the shop before meeting the eyes of the rather intimidating man. âIâve never felt so out of place.â To say that she was nervous would be quite the understatement, but there was something about this large man that made him seem a lot less threatening, for some reason. // @tattoosbywolfâ
It wasnât uncommon for Wolf to be in his shop all day every day regardless of having appointments scheduled or not. Heâd worked hard to get where he was and he liked being in the environment heâd put together with all his blood, sweat, and tears. On days like today where he didnât have appointments scheduled, he kept his time open for walk ins. Looking up from the sketch he was working on as the bell on the door sounded he smiled and stood up to greet the young woman. âIâm Wolf, this is my shopâ He motioned around. Crossing his arms over his chest as he listened to her he smiled a little. âWe can definitely do that for you.â He waved for her to follow him over to a book of font examples. âFirstly youâd pick out what font youâd like it in, unless you have a specific idea or writing example already.â He motioned for her to sit. âThen Iâd draw it up on some transfer paper, position it and get the okay, then we get started.â
âExactly! All of the above.â She nodded, a smile on her face because she finally found somebody who thought it was reasonable and sensible. âI need you to meet all my friends so they donât think Iâve made you up.â
âIâm sure they probably would think you made me up unless they saw me themselves.â He chuckled. âThen again I wouldnât want to go scaring your friends off eitherâ
âIâm not sure why my friends think that itâs so weird that I keep a list of names on my phone of who iâve slept with.â Kylie held her hands out as if to say what the fuck. âI think itâs pretty smart if you ask me. So what if I gave them a rating out of 10 too again itâs pretty fuckinâ smart if you ask me.â @mancstartâ
âI mean...it seems responsible to me. Keeping track of where youâve been and all of thatâ Wolf nodded with a slight shrug. âThat way if anything goes wrong you know who to go forâ He chuckled softly. âHey and that way you know who not to go back toâ
âbe honest, darling, does my arse look big in this dress?â sasha posed in front of a reflective surface, only speaking after sheâd caught a look of someone else. of course, she already knew she looked good, asking was never meant to seek validation in her case. perhaps she just loved the attention. âthe answerâs yes, by the way.â she smirked as she turned around, standing in front of them. @mancstartâ
Wolf had only just walked out of the shop when he caught sight of the woman admiring herself in the reflection of the window nearby. âUh well...yes?â He said it more like a question, ready to defend himself if necessary until she told him the answer was yes. âYes then, definitely.â He chuckled softlyÂ

He was Twenty Three when he met and fell in love with a woman during a stay in England while he was working as a tattoo artists apprentice. They had a whirlwind romance that led to her getting pregnant and giving birth to his daughter Scout. Unfortunately the relationship fell apart over the course of the next few years leading to his girlfriend leaving and signing all parental rights over to Wolf--deciding she was too young to be tied down.Â
His parents had settled in Manchester so he moved in with them while he focused on working as a tattoo artist until he had enough money saved up to afford his own place for him and his daughter.Â
He took over the shop he was working at when the owner retired, turning it into the dream studio he always had envisioned.Â
