I've been looking up stuff since posting that ask, originally the idea was orphan who was abandoned unfavorably by their kind cause okay survive here become an adult type ritual but they don't like this one so they leave it in incredibly harsh conditions as you mentioned where Ak'vai and Bos'akan live is incredibly bare, I don't know if any star wars species actually do that though but I've ended up favoring Twi'leks! I have ideas for them, I hope they like a free feral child XD

Twi’leks (as far as i know, but i am not as informed as most HARDCORE SW fans ofc) are quiet the warriors. 

So go ahead and make ya story up, and add this married couple as ya want! Beware tho, that in the time “The Mandalorian” happens, Bos’ is long dead. :(
