This is a video that the website GreatSchools made at EVA’s SCHOOL(!) to introduce language immersion schools and how they work. It’s pretty awesome that Eva gets to start kindergarten all over again at this nationally known school. She is already increasing her use of Mandarin, after only a week in the program.
Yinghua Academy opened its doors in 2006 in Minneapolis, the first public charter Chinese immersion school in the United States. Now there are 175 of them, including 18 that started this year.
