Mandeep Sethi aka SETI X has just dropped a phenomenal track with an equally powerful video with local sound producer and drummer Te’Amir. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking around how Asian Americans can show up with culture shifting in solidarity with #BlackLivesMatter - and I think this duo has achieved just that.

This track was created in memory of Charly "Africa" Leundeu Keunang who was killed by LAPD March 1st 2015 in Downtown Los Angeles. All officers who murdered Africa have been acquitted and the murder was found "in policy" of the Los Angeles Police Department. Shame on the LAPD and the city of Los Angeles for justifying this murder.

Looking forward to seeing the album Anahata this duo is going to create - out in May.

Just in time for his adventures at SXSW, Mandeep Sethi aka SETI X released a new out of this world tracks called Third Orbit. He has turned over a new leaf - “SETI X (Sounds of Extraterrestrial Intelligence ) is a regiment of future focused conscious thinking; an overstanding that we do not stand alone here on Planet Earth, but rather we are individual reflections of our ancient alien ancestors. The output of SETI X is reflected through a manipulation of color, light, sound, and energy and is guided by the natural forces of the galaxy.
