Day 2: Zygoma and Mandible surgery Your supposed to go to the hospital again 3 days after the surgery (which for me is today) but my mom has to do something all day today so I went yesterday (day 2) and I’m going again tomorrow (day 4) so on day 2 I went to the hospital and they either put in staples or took them out…idk they stuck me with 2 IV’s and went around my ears with something that felt sharp like staples or stitches….they say to walk around to reduce swelling so yesterday I walked around the house after my appointment and went outside with my mom at night. I can’t wear my contacts or glasses because of the bandages and I hate being this vulnerable but oh well… I had pumpkin & celery juice, regular and banana milk, blackberry juice and the worst medicine I have ever tasted, as well as this rice/egg concoction. All were in small portions. The worst part so far is the nasty medicine and going outside in public for fear of people seeing me… but I can FEEL a difference so I’ll suck it up..like all of my juices. Ugh.
