Simultaneous Maxillary and Mandibular Distraction for Facial Asymmetry Correction This young man has had long standing facial asymmetry with deviation of the mandible to the right side. He presented to our hospital for corrective surgery. A 3D CT obtained at our hospital revealed a decreased ramus height on the right side along with an occlusal cant. Treatment planning was explained to him and he consented to surgery. He underwent placement of an internal mandibular distractor device on the right side along with a Le Fort I maxillary osteotomy for simultaneous maxillary and mandibular distraction. Distraction of 2.5 cm was performed, which resulted in correction of his facial asymmetry as well as his occlusal cant. He was delighted with the results of the surgery and said that he can now face life with renewed confidence. 📞 Phone: +91 44 4294 7222 📬 Email: [email protected] 🌍 Website: www.smbalaji.com 📍 Location: Chennai, India #facialasymmetrycorrection #facialasymmetry #distraction #mandibulardistraction #leforti #osteotomy #drsmbalaji #smbalaji #balajidental #maxillofacialsurgeon #maxillofacialsurgery #india #chennai #tamilnadu (at Balaji Dental and Craniofacial Hospital) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBcjOsKFsIm/?igshid=cqwnmpaf3924
