what do they look like? include hair, eyes, skin tone, tattoos, etc. ! bee’s has shoulder-blade length hair varies anywhere between strawberry blonde to candy pink, depending on where she is in her dye cycle, and honey-coloured eyes. she’s short — 5′4, impassably short, if you ask her — and generally small, though agreeing with that sentiment likely won’t end well. currently, she has only two tattoos: her amaranthine one, hiding in plain sight behind her left ear, and a large nettle tattoo on her right forearm.

has your muse ever fallen in love before? if so, with who? did it end well? bee hasn’t fallen in love before, no. there have been romantic relationships, after a while of struggle for platonic ones. they didn’t end well for...perhaps obvious reasons. after she began to master the concept of romantic relationships, now, she can begin to learn the concept of love, vis a vis falling in.
what would you find in your muse’s refrigerator right now? half-drank coffee -- because she always thinks she shouldn’t waste it if she doesn’t finish it, and it’s never good the day after. she’s not a great cook, so mostly staple, frozen things, and dairy-free milk for tea.

what is your muse’s strongest memory that they carry around? likely not one specific moment, but a collection of small feelings. glass cutting into skin, or tar. maybe the taste of her first drink at amaranthine, the feeling of her bandaged tattoo pulsing behind her ear. first time petting a cat. y’know; that sort of thing.

Ryu Jimin is her legal name, but that name’s been dead to her since around 998. She goes by the name her father gave her, Valerius. Call her Valeri.

Valeri stands at 5′5″, is relatively fair in complexion, and lithe/slender in physique. Don’t let her soft features fool you, for if you look closely, lightly defined muscle peeks out from beneath her mesh tops and leggings. She could crush you with her thighs and you would thank her for it. Her hair is long, deep burgundy, and cascades down her back in loose curls. Her eyes are a stunning alizarin crimson when using her powers, but are a shade of brown so dark they may as well be black when she’s not.

Friends? Well… She supposes she’s got Yeoreum, Q, and Liz. That’s about it. Her family is all but dead, aside from her father, but she hasn’t seen him in a fair 100 years or so. Every now and then she grows fond of a member, perhaps a sex worker in her care, but that’s about it. She surrounds herself with work associates.

Ryu Jimin was born in a forest that would one day become the bustling city of Seoul, but Valerius was born in the freedom that came from the fires in Hell, as dramatic as it sounds. Jimin was confined and restrained in a little cabin in the woods, limited to the world around her. Valerius had full reign to explore her father’s domain as she pleased. Val preferred Hell.

She really doesn’t fear much of anything. Death doesn’t scare her, she knows her father’s just going to spit her right back out, failure is just an opportunity to learn- the only thing she’s afraid of, if you could even call it that, is having her freedom taken from her. She refuses to be limited, and will rest at nothing to ensure that she’s free to do as she pleases. This isn’t something she overtly mentions, but it’s something you can pick up on if you spend enough time around her.

She’s fallen in love time and time again. She’s a goddess among men and she’s been around for 400 years. She’s had suitors, lovers, and husbands alike, time and time again. None of them ever lasted long. As soon as they showed their true colors and tried to put her in a subservient position, refused to see her as an autonomous, intelligent equal she killed them. Each and every time she falls in love she thinks they’ll be better than the last one. I know it.

Honestly, mostly wines. A few staples, some comfort foods- it’s not that she can’t cook, it’s that she really doesn’t care too much about food. It’s a necessity, sure, but she’ll throw a salad or a soup together and call it a day. If she ever feels like having something particular she’ll just hit up the store before she heads home.

Perhaps it was the first husband she killed… or maybe the second. Maybe even the third? Mostly the idea of just disposing of the men in the world that didn’t deserve women, let alone a queen like herself. Your husband is a chauvinistic, sexist, abusive pig? Just murder him. Simple. Efficient. You get life insurance. Everyone wins… well, aside from the husband, but he doesn’t matter. Really, though, it’s the memory of Q teaching her how to kill her husband for laying a finger on her.

Amano Hanako (Hana for short) is technically a nickname, though it’s the legal name of her vessle. Her name is Castus. Only Kannika knows that, however. Even though it’s just a code name, she does like being called Sakura.

She wasn’t borne of the Divine Light of the Creator. She didn’t have a very good time in Heaven. She was just a little off for an angel. She has just a little bit too much free will, was just a little too broken. She was scorned, ridiculed, and looked down on. The other Angels called her the Angel of Death, often told God to cast her from Grace. Sometimes she wonders why she’s trying to return to that place. Is having something to prove enough reason?

He tends to surround himself with people who are just as twisted as he is.

He was born in Jeju, but only lived there for about 10 years or so. He lived in a cabin in the forests with his parents until the humans burnt his home to the ground. After that point, he grew up in England with the man who would teach him how to take his rage and turn it into a beautiful, twisted art.

I honestly don’t even think he knows. He fears loss, that much is certain. The loss of Amelie, the loss of Elizabeth, Luca, and Marc- even the loss of certain members might break him just a little bit.

He hates to admit it, but he falls in love far more often that he lets on. The only person he admits to loving, however, is his wife Amelie. But there’s been a Duke and Duchess, a pair of Noblewomen sisters, and his dearest Jane Austen, though she may have been more of a platonic soulmate more than anything. All of his lovers have since passed, presumably, and his wife? Is hidden away for her own safety. Amelie won’t be the last person he’ll fall in love with, no matter how hard he fights with himself over that.

what is your muse’s strongest memory that they carry around?
Amalie. Her small, delicate frame limp in his arms, blood splattered on the white sheets of their bedroom illuminated by moonlight. She bled profusely from her temple and a small trickle of blood ran from a shallow gash on her neck. She’d been attacked while she slept next to Aiden and he’d been too slow to protect her. Her assailant, a hunter, was dead, body at the foot of their bed while his head was in the doorway, and Aiden was frantically calling Alucard. That was the night he knew that the city wasn’t safe for her. If she survived, she had to leave until Veritas was able to accomplish their goal of exterminating humans. He was simply too big of a target to let her get caught up in this. She was small, meek, timid, fragile- and if Aiden couldn’t be around to protect her, he was going to lose her.

Vincent di Soriano. Those he’s close to call him Vince. Most of the members of Invictus call him “Don Vincent” or “Don Karma”. Enemies exclusively know him as “Don Karma” (well, they know him as Karma, but they add ‘Don’ if they know what’s good for them).

He’s not incredibly tall, nor is he particularly short. He’s about average, standing at 5′10 (though he may seem smaller on a bad leg day). He’s pale in complexion and lithe with lightly toned muscle in build. His eyes are a brilliant amber, and his hair... well, it’s always kept at a shaggy, but short length. The color varies on a whim, but he generally gravitates to blonde, silver, or blue.
He’s got a number of tattoos. The constellation of Lupos lives between his shoulder blades, he has his mother’s initials inked on the skin above his heart, and watercolor peonies on his ribcage with hisoka’s birthday under them are the three major ones that stand out to him. The others are just little pieces for decoration or because he got bored.

La Familia. As cliche as it sounds, Lupos Invictus is his family. As far as he’s concerned, the members are blood to him. They’re his pack. I really have a thing for muses not at all growing up where they were born. He was born in Daegu, but he was raised in the small Italian village of Castelluccio in central Italy. His family would move to Venice eventually, and his young adult life would be spent there until his parents passed.
His life was... honestly, pretty normal? He was loved beyond belief, he was well on his way to becoming a master blacksmith- it was pretty standard living if you exclude the fact his dad was an international arms dealer with the Italian mafia and he watched his parents grow old while he never aged.

He doesn’t fear death. He knows he’s living on borrowed time.
Is he afraid that he’ll fail to keep people safe? That the hunters will keep coming and coming and coming and he’ll never be able to protect his people? That this crime family maybe wasn’t the best way to keep them safe? Maybe. Does he fear that his child is mixed up in this and that every time he sends her on a mission she might not come home? Yes.

He’s standing on the balcony of their small home in Venice with his mother, overlooking the expansive sea. The sun was setting and the rays bounced off the water’s surface, making it sparkle like the most delicate crystals being moved with the tide. The crisp, cool, salty breeze off the ocean made his mother’s golden brown hair flutter in the wind, carrying the birdsong of her laughter away with it.
They were waiting for his father to return home from his latest bout of travels, keeping a weather eye on the horizon for his ship,but just enjoying a small cup of coffee in the mean time.
“Cucciolo, your father and I aren’t getting any younger, you know. I know we were blessed that we have you, but grandchildren would be nice. I’ve always wanted a granddaughter, after all.” she teased with a smile on her lips.
“Ma~” he whined, a faint blush dusting his cheeks as he grinned, “I’m working in the forge to help afford this place. I don’t have time to find a wife right now. I’ll give you a granddaughter one day, but right now I need to focus on the forge.”

well, whose name do you want? in 1938, this body belonged to a dryad who was born with the name jung kyuhyun. in 1949, the dryad lost all memory and was assimilated into his adoptive family under the name quinn alvarez, and he didn’t discover his birth name kyuhyun until years later as he dug through his parents’ files. the demon who currently inhabits the body is simply named q, a name picked out by quinn himself to give to the mysterious voice in his head. q can’t remember what name he went by before turning up in quinn’s body, but he’s sure he must have gone by something. legally, at current, his name is registered as quinn jung, as he dropped his adoptive parents’ last name before he moved back to korea, but he didn’t feel attachment to the name kyuhyun like he did quinn. such a long story only to come to the conclusion that q is in control, and he likes to be called q. nothing more, nothing less.

q is one of the least intimidating people you will ever meet, standing at 5′6″ with a lack of muscle mass and some of the cutest fairy-like features you’ll ever see. though he was born with a common fae coloring– pastel pink hair and deep blue eyes– he opts to constantly dye his hair a different color to distance himself from his fae identity, and currently, he has it dyed black. the blue eyes can stay though, he likes those. other than his binary veritas tattoo, he has a snake wrapped around his other wrist and a knife and rose on his upper arm.

( tw: self harm??? ) q has multiple burn scars from where he has pressed iron against his skin on multiple different occasions in order to cause quinn pain. he’s done it for various reasons, the most serious of which being that quinn forcibly took over to stop him from killing a target, and the most petty of which being that he just wouldn’t shut up when q had a headache. sure, the burns hurt q as well, but the satisfaction of quinn apologizing for whatever he’d done and going silent for a few hours (maybe a few days) is worth it.

to be entirely honest? q doesn’t really consider himself to have friends nor family. he usually surrounds himself with the members of his gang, but even then he doesn’t truly consider any of them friends.

undoubtedly, quinn. as at odds as the two are, quinn is the one person q will go to any means to protect. is that because they share a body and anything that kills quinn would kill him as well? maybe. but there’s also just something about spending your entire life with someone, unable to separate yourself from them, that cultivates a sort of sibling-like bond.

quinn was born in seoul, though neither quinn nor q remember ever living in korea before they moved there after high school graduation. for however long they can remember, they grew up in upstate new york in a fairly large family of adopted supernatural children, all with different unique characteristics which set them apart from others of their respective species. their adoptive parents had always been cold and methodical, never quite giving them the kind of attention that one would associate with a kind and loving household.
007. what is your muse’s biggest fear and does anyone know? if so, who, and if not, why not?
q likes to think that he has no fears. no true fears, at least. he avoids death at all costs, but wouldn’t be afraid should his time be upon him. he does not fear failure, only lets it fuel him to do better next time. the only thing he’d say he’s truly afraid of is feeling powerless. does that automatically make it his biggest fear? maybe.

... no. q thinks love is fake and irrational.

fruits, vegetables, and lots of noodles. q is a vegetarian, and dishes with noodles or bread are his absolute favorite. he’s not home very often, and when he’s out he usually stops by restaurants or orders takeout to his office, so his kitchen is truly sort of bare. but the snack foods that he does stock up on are there for when he needs to stress eat his way through leader things or when quinn finally gets time to breathe and curl up with a bag of popcorn and his favorite novel.

011. what is your muse’s strongest memory that they carry around?
the most vivid memory q has is of him trying to destroy quinn’s tree. this particular memory is so strong because it’s the exact moment that he realized there was no separating himself from quinn. everything that quinn felt as limbs were hacked off of his precious tree, q felt as well. that was the moment that the permanence of his predicament truly set in.
Cha Jaehyun that's his full name. his grandmother once told him that jaehyun meant respect and virtue. those two things were important to his parents and wanted him to have those values when he grew up- fucking ironic right? his closest friends call him jae and if they are brave enough, jaehyunie. while his enemies know him by a name that sounds as deadly as him- venom.
standing tall at 6 foot 3 inches, jaehyun’s naturally pale in color thanks to his pureblood vampire lineage. whatever warmth he lacked with his skin, he makes up for with his eyes. jae has the warmest brown eyes that crinkles when he smiles. and when the sun hits his face just right, his eyes radiate joy and excitement. however, blood red seeps into those chocolate eyes when jaehyun bares his fangs. making his already intimidating features even more fearsome.
scars. those were the most abundant marring on jaehyun’s pale skin. he has a scar around both of his upper arms that took the shape of the silver chain that embedded on his skin when the humans tied him up. right below his rib cage, was the scar from the silver knife that the humans stabbed him with that night. it was a curse, jaehyun thought, to look at the mirror every time and see the reminders of his weakness.
jaehyun has no living family members anymore. he is the last descendant of the cha coven. his parents were ambushed by humans when he was infant leaving him under the supervision of his grandmother. a few weeks after jaehyun burned his boarding school and his classmates with it, a group of humans gunned down their ancestral home thinking that jae was there. that was how he lost the only family he had ever known.
now, jaehyun considered veritas as his family. joon, hyun, aiden, q, kitty, kiha, and vesper. he will go through hell and back just to protect them.
jaehyun doesn't really let anyone in so easily. his close friends could know the most mundane information about him but no one knows his fears, loneliness, and guilt. then, kiha came along. finding the dryad was like finding a piece of himself that he lost. it was hands down, the best decision jae has ever made.
jaehyun was born in busan, south korea. coming from a line of pureblood vampires, they were quite affluent. his family owned several businesses and estate. such was the reason he was easily sent to a boarding school in daejeon. little did they know that, that place would be the beginning of jaehyun's demise.
no one knew what jaehyun fears of. after all, feelings were not something he easily talks about. and jaehyun doesn’t want his fears to become a point of weakness for him. a recurring nightmare plagues his sleep though. it was always the same and left the vampire with cold sweat and a pounding heart. in the dream, he found his closest friends lying in a pool of blood, lifeless and cold. the humans who had tortured them were holding knives and guns. however, the moment jae looked at his reflection he would see the blood that covered his body. the hunters didn't kill his friends, he did.
jae had only known hatred and fear all his life. he had convinced himself that he wasn't made to beloved. after all he was, and still is, a murderer- a monster like him can't be loved.
jaehyun had a guilty pleasure and that was food. the vampire was actually a good cook. his fridge was well stocked with ordinary human food and a separate fridge filled packs of blood.
as the old adage said, "trauma permanently changes people." the memory of that night fueled jaehyun's hatred for humans. some nights, he could even feel the burning sensation brought by the chains and the searing pain from the wound. it kept him in line with his goal which is, "to eradicate humans and anyone who tries to stop him."
his full name is SEO JIYONG, but he’s more commonly known as CROW among peers. friends might opt to shorten his name and call him JI, and only a select few are allowed to call him LITTLE DRAGON. this nickname is reserved for family and his closest friends only, though could be used by anyone who wishes to get under his skin as it was the nickname his mother gave him before she passed away.
jiyong has a WARM complexion, DEEP BROWN eyes, and naturally DARK BROWN hair. he likes to dye his hair when he gets bored with whatever colour it is. his hair currently HONEY BLONDE. he has FOUR PIERCINGS ( two lobe piercings in his left ear and a lobe and helix piercing in his right ear ) and TWO TATTOOS ( the aegis shield on his right arm and the aries constellation behind his left ear ).
he has various SMALL SCARS on both of his arms and hands, which are mainly from accidents that happened while cooking because jiyong can be a little clumsy, especially around fire and knives.
jiyong claims to prefer to be alone, but in reality enjoys the company of others more than he lets on and would never admit to the fact that he’s quite lonely. back in the town he grew up in, he’d mostly be surrounded by HIS GRANDPARENTS and TWO CHILDHOOD FRIENDS, though he has lost touch with the latter since he moved to seoul. these days he spends most of his time surrounded by OTHER AEGIS MEMBERS, but doesn’t consider himself friends with most of them. other than that, his cat RAVEN is the one who probably sees him the most.
the closest people to jiyong would be HIS GRANDPARENTS, considering they took him in and raised him after his parents passed away, but his bond with HIS GRANDMOTHER is the strongest.
jiyong was born in SEOUL, where he spent the first couple of years of his life. he has no memory of this, but his family was ( and is ) quite wealthy and his parents had nothing but love for him and each other. he grew up in NAMHAE, with his grandparents, whose financial situation is the same as that of his parents, meaning he’s never known the struggle of having no money. they were quite strict with him, but also very loving and understanding, and he’s eternally grateful to both of them for taking him in and taking care of him. in addition, his love for plants and gardening comes from his grandmother, which is something they’d often do together when he was younger.
his two biggest fears are related to his secrets, so i won’t be revealing what they are just yet. all i’m willing to say is that his family knows about one of them, while the other one is something he has never talked about with anyone—there might be people who know about his situation, but not about his fear, simply because he’s too scared to share it with anyone. kind of a ‘if i talk about it, it becomes real’ situation. that said, his third biggest fear is HEIGHTS, which is something everyone who knows him knows about because he doesn’t exactly hide it.
no, jiyong has NEVER BEEN IN LOVE before. he has had his fair share of relationships and one-night stands, but love is something he has never experienced. he’s had crushes here and there too, but those feelings never developed into more. whether it is because he doesn’t allow many people too close to him without pushing them away or because he simply hasn’t found the right person yet, he doesn’t know.
not much. aside from TWO CARTONS OF BANANA MILK and LEFTOVERS FROM YESTERDAY’S DINNER, it’s completely empty because he’s been busy with work and hasn’t had the time to get groceries. ( read: he has been too lazy to go shopping. )
the time he FELL FROM A TREE and BROKE HIS ARM because he WANTED TO RESCUE HIS NEIGHBOUR’S KITTEN. it might seem weird to some, but he remembers that day so vividly, especially the moments when he slipped and fell and when his grandfather carried him back inside the house. it’s a fond memory now that he’s older, despite that he was incredibly distressed and in a lot of pain when it happened. up until that moment, he didn’t have the close relationship with his grandfather he has now, and according to jiyong, he showed how much he cared for him more openly after that day.
