It is best when it also has langka (jackfruit). Mang Tootz has a different style of turon and they call it Banana Rhum-a. Its still turon but instead of just cooking it with brown sugar, they added banana extract, pineapple juice, sesame seeds, cinnamon, dark rum, and the langka to the syrup.
