Usually, unless there was good reason to, Niko wasn’t exactly prone to just following strangers at their beckoning.
That is, those who he wasn’t getting PAID to follow. Yet, the situation was turning into something way beyond what he would be getting from staying--the only guarantee was him leaving with more holes in him than normal, at least. So, he had already been looking for an opening to slip out unnoticed when he had caught her gesturing. Niko’s brows tightened in CONFUSION, the frown on his face deepening as he remained where he was hiding behind cover. At least there wasn’t the added pressure of trying to think while hoping that a bullet wouldn’t be strong enough to rip through a metal sheet.
Yet, he knew his opportunity was slowly closing and he certainly didn’t mind abandoning the idea of a shootout. So, after a few moments, he started to make his way toward her. Niko was very much aware of the weight of his pistol in his jacket, however, and knew it was a LOT easier to kill one person and make a run for it than a whole room of people. Yet, reason told him that she probably would have just left him in there if she had intentions to kill him, but he knew better than to dismiss the risk.
So, once there had been some distance between him and the previous situation, Niko came to a stop.
“This is far as I go,” he stated, “Who are you? What do you want?”
