“I’m going back to the hospital,” John tells them, chasing down the last of the dry, cardboardy protien bar with a swig of scalding hot tea - the choice a byproduct of the semester he spent at Oxford with the Lady Penelope. “I think Grandma would be relieved to see me, to check I’m still alive.” Alan snorts out a laugh at that, but John’s semi-serious; he’s more than aware that it’s not like him to sleep for so long, especially not fully clothed and face down in a pillow. Gordon had proudly boasted that he’d poked John’s cheek at somewhere around four pm and he’d not so much as budged. Bloody planet Earth.
girl help i’ve come down with The Illness
i miss writing Anri and it sucks because I find her easier to write when in the confines/context of a group setting. ie rp groups, jcink forums etc. because admittedly, she's a passive character so having reason/motivation for her to do stuff is prompting. But rpgs are very barren right now.
deltarune narrator masterpost
mad fucking nerd. now if you see this and go “oh boy oh boy they use punctuation i know who else uses puncutation? CHARA.” consider the following:
chara takes little crayon drawings seriously and would not do this out of touch anthropologist bit.
chara humanizes objects in a different way, more speculative than functionary,
chara’s encouragement in the asriel fight takes an extremely different tone to “but don’t give up...!” (note: gay shit right there) CHARA goes “the world is ending” before they go “but it refused”, which is also notably a much smoother pun than our friend deltarune narrator pulls off here:
in conclusion deltarune is a game licensed by ninteno
If you're still taking prompts....kc + the night will go as follows x spill canvas

She loves this life.
It’s maybe a littletoo selfish to admit, but she loves the freedom of being able to admitsomething so naïve and still being able to mean every bit of it.
She’s balanced so precariouslyon the jagged edge of the cliff that she could practically feel the cold hackaway at the timid space between her fingers and flesh. Klaus had jumped in asilver leap of a fish ago, just to prove that he could. It was incrediblyannoying when he got like this, ever theman to want to try the most stupid of things just to impress her.
As if she hadn’t been sharinga bed with him for the last forty-nine years.
“You’re a dolt!” shescreams downawards as loud as her lungs allow. “We are going to have words back in the hotel!”
She pulls off hershirt with a grunt, kicks off her shoes as she curses her beloved, shucks outof her jeans, and take the deepest breath she’d ever taken.
Jumps.
The collected air inher lungs is slammed out of her almost instantaneously; she’s tumbling, screaming, hating Klaus even more that he didn’t do the dishes this morning—
She’s still screamingwhen she hits the water with a mighty splash. Gravity fools her when she triesto grab onto an imaginary ledge and ends up thrashing even more on the surfaceof the water: she sinks five feet into the desolate cold, before she feels asharp yank, an upwards thrust, and she is faced by her very gleeful Klaus.
“If it rains, I’ll push you off the damn cliff myself nexttime,” Caroline shrieks athim, hysterical with adrenaline. Her heart is pounding in her teeth, she feels lighter than air.
“But what about myescaped-a-near-death-experience kiss?” Klaus yells back over the roar of waves. He treads water with strong strokes of his arm, and even with his hairplastered wetly to his forehead she thinks she’ll love him forever.
She kicks harder soher shoulders emerge from the water, and with a push forward she kisses him.Their lips meet in a slippery skid and she ends up with her lips on hisearlobe. He laughs, tugs her closer with one arm and they try again: this timewith him holding her up, their lips meet squarely. Caroline tilts her head, tasting sea salt and something sharper, and she almost forgets they’re treadingwater for their lives until a wave knocks them underwater.
And then it starts torain.
Klaus refuses to meether eye for a full five seconds. Caroline decides forgiving him is probably a betterchoice than deep-sea drowning.
“Love, have I told youhow absolutely ravishing you look with your hair plastered wetly to yourforehead?”
Groaning, she tries toshut him up with a kiss, misses entirely, and thinks, again: Probably.
send me a song and i’ll write out a pairing + feels to it, which are not allowed to be edited at all
