Hey howdy! This is Irisidas, a Manokete warrior recruitable alongside Keaton and Kaden in Chapter 13 of Fire Emblem Fates Revelations. She is from a far away land with a past shrouded in mystery. The most she’s told anyone is that she’s after a hidden enemy that kidnapped her family.

She’s aloof with strangers, more-so humans, but once you earn her friendship you’re rewarded with fierce loyalty. She has a habit of mothering her friends, and some can find it a bit overbearing. She means no harm, it's just the way she cares for people.

Out of everyone in the army, she is the best swimmer.

Iris has quite a few friends within Corrins army!

Niles and Laslow are slow to gain her trust, but she eventually comes to enjoy spending time with the both of them. Often she'll join their bar crawls, making sure they don't get into too much trouble.

Saizo and Iris's relationship is, uh, complicated. They hate each-other and antagonise the other whenever possible. It takes them a very, very long time to become friends, but it does eventually happen.

Iris, Keaton and Kaden were traveling together for sometime before they join Corrins army. Iris enjoys their company a lot, and considers them close friends. They hunt together, and occasionally will nap in the sun whenever they have a quiet moment to spare.

In the supports day of FE OC Week I'll be posting more details about their relationships with each-other!

FE OC Week Day 4 & 5: Tragedy & Joy

Was too busy yesterday so I instead put tragedy and joy together for one post today!

Tragedy:

A few years into being Anankos's personal gladiator, Iris's performance was beginning to grow stale. To spice things up, he threw Karieana, Iris's young daughter, into the arena for a few minutes before he sent in Iris. Karie lost her eye from the ordeal, and Iris became more violent during her future matches, hoping that she'd entertain him enough that he'd leave her family alone.

Joy:

Time flows differently in Valla. Because of the time Iris spent in Nohr and Hoshido, by the time she gets to Valla and frees her people, her children are roughly 16-17ish. When she last saw them, Karieana and Mikohai were about 10. It's a bit of a shook for her to see her babies nearly all grown up, but she's just grateful to have them back. The image above shows the tearful reunion between mother and children.
