Following up on just shy of a year ago when we helped set up a native pollinator garden and tropical food forest. We assessed the plants, did some light pruning and fertilizing. I'm happy to say a fair amount survived, but some also perished. So now we're planning the anniversary to replant, get an arborist to trim the canopy in preparation for hurricane season, and conduct workshops on basic horticulture so the staff and residents can tend to the plants and harvest quality fruits. The guava had fruit, and bananas are about to bloom!
