Cryptid of the Day: Manta Man

Description: In 2013, several witnesses around Bustamante Park in Northern Chile reported seeing a winged man-like creature. Its name comes from its resemblance to a Manta Ray, though the creature is described as being over 6ft tall. One couple claimed to have seen the beast perched on top of San Francisco Church in Santa Isabel, and said it resembled a winged dog.

September 29th: In 2013, an anonymous witness claimed to have seen a winged creature fly over Bustamante Park in Santiago de Chile. Later, the eyewitness would sketch the creature, and the press dubbed it “Manta Man”.

Description: The Manta Man was a strange flying creature seen in Northern Chile on September 29th, 2013. It was described as a four limbed, 6ft tall and possessed leathery wings. It was also seen in the alpine Los Barrenchea Commune & a church tower in Santiago.
