Manusos is really interesting when contrasted with Carol. While Carol has not attempted to find her own source of food (instead relying on what’s leftover from before the Joining and what the hive mind can deliver), Manusos took it upon himself to fish and collect rainwater to drink. Even before his journey, he scavenged for food instead of asking the hive for assistance. And then there’s the journey itself: Carol arranged for a flight while Manusos took his old car and went by foot. Carol asked for people who could speak her language, while Manusos either taught himself a new language or expanded his English speaking skills (hard to say which). It’s only when Manusos is literally on the brink of death that he accepts help (and quite honestly, he doesn’t really have a choice). And none of this is to say one character is better than the other: they are BOTH great characters, and they both are reacting to the situation in different but understandable ways.

Rating Pluribus:

5/5 totally great sci-fi show. Whoever thought that story is a genius. And i do love the cast, great work, my only problem is why? why would you cast a Colombian and let him play the most Colombian character ever, but make him Paraguayan????

Literally do you think all South America is the same? I mean, te actor is great for the part, but his character could have been Colombian and it wouldn't damage the plot at all, and i could take him more seriously and not laugh or cringe at how not at all paraguayan he is 🤷🏻
