So far this novel writing month is going pretty smoothly! On Dec. 2nd, I started a new novel that felt a bit more compelling, wrote 6,940 words, and then didn't touch it again until yesterday. We're now chilling at a crisp 20k, which means any minute now I'll decide I actually hate it or the plot isn't quite plotting and start over from scratch. But we haven't hit that point yet! So that's something! The novel I'd originally planned for has about 10k words as of Saturday, so it's possible that maybe both will complete the goal this month, who knows?
