god not to slut over maiaphael because of one (1) gifset but thinking about how Maia can't eat chocolate after her Turning and being so soft for Raphael making her desserts. it's not the same as chocolate but at last he can make her other good, sweet things that make her happy and he's determined to find something that she likes just as much. every once in a while he shows up before opening Taki's with a little tray in hand with whatever sweet he made her. he goes everywhere for inspiration, from traditional recipes to stuff he made up completely. he asks Magnus for tips because Magnus has travelled so far and knows so much stuff, he does things from all around the world, and Maia loves them all. and she smiles so brightly because obviously Raphael put so much thought into this, and ugh. then he asks, "is it as good as chocolate?" and she laughs and says "you cant compare them, it's different," and as Raphael immediately starts like, scribbling down stuff to try later, she's like "but i promise that i love it! it's not that it isnt as good, its just not the same, but it won't be" and Raphael completely ignores her, already on Hyperfocusing mode, and she laughs and swats at his direction, and djsnsisnsijdndjd i just love them

Expectations for 2x09

Honestly, the only thing I want from next episode is for Magnus to get suddenly feral! Like I want him to go crazy, like a mother lioness protecting its cub from attackers! Honestly I need that and if we don't get it I'll be extremely disappointed because if Raph's his kid, then he's freaking above a relationship that young! I want the Magnus who takes no shit again, who doesn't let anyone hurt the few ones he loves! I mean you don't get to call someone your child if you don't protect it from all (well most) evil! And having the crap beat out of you is evil! Especially when he was practically forced the second time!
