I found out about Maple Taffy Cookie's existance...

Oh well! Here are my headcanons

Maple Taffy Cookie is Maple Sugar Cookie's long lost older brother. He left Maple Town when she was a toddler.

His ambition to find rare and unique relics from foreign lands pushed him to abandon his title as new lord and leave his hometown with uncertainity of returning. Maple Sugar would take his place once she would turn 18.

He doesn't talk much to the TBD about his past and his family. Nonetheless, he still loves them.

When he was young, he would go to the city's antique shops to scavenge for trinkets that would tickle his fancy. He had shelves filled with rare vintage objects in his room (they're still on these shelves, recollecting dust).

Maple Sugar was denied access to Maple Taffy's room as a child, but Rich Syrup and Glazed Bun would say yes to her going in when she got to an age when she wouldn't recklessly throw things around and break them. Since her early teenage years, she would come into Maple Taffy's room twice a month and clean the dust and spider webs off (a lovely thought for a room that might be never be used again).

Rich Syrup and Glazed Bun don't bring up Maple Taffy often, almost as he became a ghost to them. But they still feel bad that Maple Sugar never got to know him very much. How close they would've got together...

Maple Taffy and Maple Sugar's Grandma was upset that her oldest granchild left, and couldn't ask nothing more from her youngest to stay by her for the last years of her life.

Maple Syrup Cookie did not even know he had 2 great-great-grandchildren since he spent the last decades after the dark flour war in a lost cabin in the Vermilion Forest.
