Enjoy the delicious combination of smooth vanilla bean ice cream between two crisp waffle cookies, with a rich maple berry mash on top. You can eat these ice cream sandwiches whenever you want a sweet treat.

Ingredients: 1 pint vanilla bean ice cream. 8 waffle cookies. 1 cup mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries. 2 tablespoons maple syrup.

Instructions: Allow the vanilla bean ice cream to soften slightly at room temperature for easier spreading. Place four waffle cookies on a clean surface. Spread a generous scoop of softened vanilla bean ice cream onto each waffle cookie. Top the ice cream with another waffle cookie to create a sandwich. Press down gently to adhere the cookies together. In a small saucepan, combine the mixed berries and maple syrup. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the berries break down and the mixture thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Using a fork or potato masher, mash the berries until desired consistency is reached. Allow the berry mash to cool completely. Once the berry mash is cooled, spoon it over the assembled ice cream sandwiches. Serve immediately, or wrap each sandwich in parchment paper and freeze for later enjoyment.

Alright, so, the other day, I sorta realized a story that worked for MattiexSigixLuci.

The Little Mermaid. The original telling. (revised)

A young merman found the drowning sailor and his heart fell for him instantly. After bringing him ashore, he started watching him in secret, more and more becoming smitten with the German.

After meeting with the sea witch, the mer traded his voice for legs with the condition he wins the humans heart in the span of a week, and soon found an old sail, which he covered before the man stumbled upon him.

With a lack of a voice, the German brought the boy home, dressing him properly, and the two connect, despite the inability to speak. 

Not too long after, A young man returned from his travels, and into his long time lovers arms. 

Going out, the young mer went to go see the German, only to see his Italian lover now clinging to him. With the realization that the one who had stolen his heart would never feel the same in return, he ran back to the sea to weep, waiting for the end to come as the sun slowly decent into the sky, and his form turn into sea foam.

Siegfried came in fairly quickly so the dog wouldn’t get out. He pulled on his gloves a little, breathing in deep from his nose to try to keep himself calm for the most part. He had a lot of things to say, best say one of the more important things first.

He couldn't take this anymore. He just couldn't. Things had broken off and now was the chance to act. He only hoped the other would accept him. So now cue a very nervous Siegfried knocking at Mattie's door. [mapleberry]

“Coming!” Mattie hurried to the door, not having expected visitors, let alone Siegfried. Last he had heard, the other was heading back to his home for a while, so to open the door and see the other there was a bit of a surprise to him.

“Oh, Siegfried! Hey, I didn’t know you were back already. Everything alright?”
