I'd like to theorize something from TFOne with people that my husband brought up-

Since its a spoiler, it's below the cut.

How do you think Sentinel decided who got to keep their t-cogs and who didn't?

I think since they were "born" it was more like how the batches with the cold constructs were in IDW, like this batch is for a, this batch is for b, etc etc. And so he'd choose a "batch" to be miners and pull their tcogs.

Favorite scene from the movie?

☆☆☆Spoilers below the cut for transformer one!!!☆☆☆

My favorite scene is between either when Orion offlines and we see the inside of Cybertron shifting to let him into the core and for him to receive the matrix or when we see the battle of Sentinel betraying the rest of the primes, I also enjoyed D-16 standing up and refusing to kneel for Sentinel.

For me, seeing the insides of the planet shift, etc, was in and of itself a GORGEOUS scene, and I enjoyed just how it drove home that he was chosen to be the next prime, sort of highlighting his sacrifice of himself at the cost of others.

The betrayal of Sentinel to the rest of the Primes was a twist I didn't see coming either, and that was another beautifully done scene. I think I also enjoyed this scene as much as I did bc it shows this verses take on the primes, what they look like etc. I'm nonbinary and yanked my name from Solus Prime, but I think that was a given, so I'm already predisposed ig to liking things that involve the primes.

And then the scene with D-16 was also a cinematic masterpiece, and with everything that went on in this scene it was a story treasure trove, and fed into his origin of becoming Megatron so much more instead of him just being oh "bad guy bc fuck the government". My FAVORITE part of this scene specifically was how the sticker of all things from the start of the movie played such a huge role in how the decetpicon symbol came to be, and how it also played into him choosing Megatron as his new "name".

I'll post an actual review of this movie later, and I THINK I'm going to go see it again at some point.

I swear if Prowl is in Transformers One I will be even more feral.

I'm HOPING that since it seems to have a bit during the war, that they'll have him, especially since he's Second in Command, and Head of Tactical, they'll be able to pull him in somehow. Same with Jazz how he's Third in Command, and head of Special Operations.

Any new favorite characters you didn't like/paid no mind to previously before seeing the movie?

Not really, I'm more of a MegOp (D-16/Orion) shipper now, but omg tfone verse.

They only really focus on Elita, D-16, B-127, and Orion, so there's not really very many others to "focus" on. I was hoping for more with my 3 favorites, but im hoping that'll come in the next movie.

Anyone you wish you saw in the movie?

I saw Prowl and Bluestreak that I could identify in the background. So definitely those two. The first half of the movie was my husband and I getting excited and pointing out who all we could identify to each other.

I also wish we would've seen more of Jazz, but like I said, I get why they focused on who they did.

1 thing you'd change in the movie

I think at one point during test showings there were rumors the movie was another hour longer, and I WISH it would've been another hour longer. The ending was so rushed, it made me feel cheated out of more story, and left me unsatisfied with how it ended. I get why that hour was cut, but still.

I also wanted more building of the rest of the bots, but I know and hope that'll come in the next movie. I know they had to build the story and background of the characters to lead into the great war, too, but I was hoping for more.

I also went and saw it in IMAX 3D, and idk if it was the settings of the theater, but Scarlette Johansons' voice was so shrill at points it almost gave me a headache. I wish she would've done more to differentiate her voice from her usual voice, but it is what it is and is just me nit picking.
