it's my birthday! here's my favorite picture from our trip last weekend to celebrate <3

OC-Tober 19: Inspiration!

For this, I went with who inspires the character rather than who they're inspired by, so here's Chestnutpaw with their mentor, Mapleface (played by @magpiefrost) from @lostcoastclans!

tell me about silverfang and her kits?

of silverfang's surviving littermates (willowface, who recently passed; ridgefall; and sleetblossom), she's closest with sleetblossom.

as for her kits, well, she's had quite a few!

first, on her own, it's birchpaw, dapplekit, dawnfire, moonkit, sprucekit, and squailnose.

birchpaw was mentored by his aunt, sleetblossom, and died in a battle. his littermates became warriors after.

dapplekit was a strong swimmer.

dawnfire has now had her own family, although all her litter all died as kits. she struggled with the loss. her and spruce-eye grew up together and were apprenticehood friends.

moonkit and sprucekit both died young, over a leafbare sickness.

last from these five, squailnose: while he had kits with greyeye, they're not the closest pair of mates.

now, silverfang's younger three, the litter she had with bluefrost, cloudpaw, mapleface, and robinkit.

cloudpaw was always close with her father.

mapleface was also mentored by sleetblossom, and sleetblossom was very happy she survived. losing two of her sister's kits under her mentoring would've been hard on their relationship. (and, obviously, terrible.)

lastly, robinkit died very young, of no discernible cause.

So yesterday I got married and these two pictures are my favorite so far

little post to celebrate me being six weeks on T! apparently my voice has changed a lot already! :D

don't let the second selfie fool you though, that's all the work of angles and good lighting making my face look more chiseled. the only thing the camera didn't really capture well is that the peach fuzz above my lip is getting SUPER DARK and the hairs on my cheeks and chin especially are getting pretty long!

I know I'm still super early into HRT, but all these changes feel so promising :D
