Maplestory RED

I've played maple on and off for many years. 

I will always consider my main to be my crusader, and I really loved fighters. It was easy to play, difficult to die and had killer orbs. I love my orbs. 

But when I was playing my fighter I would sometimes see ever so cool bowmen (Bowmasters or Crossbow masters) with strafe. I tended to train in the fertile ground of Malaysia (I loved Malaysia, they had really awesome drops) where occasionally a new bowmaster/crossbowmaster would come along and use strafe. 

I loved how it looked. Those four arrows looked so so pretty. And then they would use Arrow Rain (blue for BMs and pink for MMs), and I loved it. At that point, people liked many other things, like Shining Ray, Genesis, Dragon Roar, Poison (the green blob lagging you!), Flash Jump (when it was still rare, yes, a long time ago). But I loved Strafe and arrow rain. 

I loved those skills so much that when I came back to maple many years later, and basically had to start over cause it had changed so much, I chose to play a MM. Note that this the complete opposite of what I had known and loved, which is a crusader. Gone was the walk into the monster and whack it. Now it was, stay away from the monster, shoot it, and don't die. Especially through all the nerfs, it was difficult to survive as a marksman (it is about 1-2 hits KO, and that's normal) 

So education called, and I went ahead and fulfilled my education duties. Was bored these few days, and started playing again. Then I realised that my skills had got reset. No big deal, seeing that skills get reset in maple fairly often. 

But I realised that there was no more Strafe (which I fell in love with perhaps 7 years ago) and no more arrow rain. (And no more Puppet in it's original form, plus Pierce in it's original form. No strafe also means no more Ultimate Strafe)  

I don't feel like playing a Marksman anymore. And we're finally back to the point where adventurers are decent characters to play. I played an MM (even though they sucked so hard at that point in time) in some part because i wanted strafe and arrow rain. And that's no more. 

Now I get some hooky thing, and what have you. I did not even feel like adding my 3rd/4th job skill points. 

Strafe and Arrow Rain were so iconic for bowmen. I'm so upset that they're gone.  

AND the number of hits in Pierce!!! NO. Why did they do that? 4 looks better than three, and at least it reminds me of strafe. Give me back my old Pierce, seeing that it's not actually more powerful.

I want to pretend that the RED update didn't happen.
