Hey everybody!
I know most of the Yuri on Ice fandom is really upset right now. And we have every right to be, at this point I am beginning too lose hope that there will even be a movie. But I know all of you are kind and smart and know not to take this out on the Yuri on Ice creative team, it is most likely not their fault. I have a great deal of empathy for the team right now who probably feel very bad even if the backlash is not directed toward them. I’m hoping that the anger and hurt people are feeling gets through to MAPPA more than anything else, since it is most likely their fault, and they at least give us a small update or at least tell us sooner rather than later if the movie is cancelled so we can properly grieve. I’m really sad, Yuri on Ice is literally what is keeping me going besides my friends maybe. I don’t want to see it end. So I have to hope that they movie will still be made. My DMs are open if anyone is feeling hurt right now. Let’s try to stay productive, you are allowed to complain and you are allowed to feel hurt, just don’t target that toward anyone else please.
