I'm happy to have finished my first piece for 2026 featuring Marahute and Cody from Disney's: The Rescuers Down Under. I haven’t made any newer digital art pieces in such a while. This was due to me having some catastrophically major depression. I’m on the mend, but not out the woods. I missed my hobby, and a lot of you here!

Have you ever felt so good about a movie it's almost unfair to everything else you've watched before or after?

That's this movie.

This is such a brilliant film, it feels almost unfair for the first movie. It's one of the greatest sequels ever made, it's big, it's engaging, the characters are fantastic, the writing is sharp and witty, and the action is incredible. There's no fat in this movie, it's all substance.

I'm sure you've watched it already, but you should go watch it again. Because it's brilliant, and it should be celebrated more often.

Learning a new drawing app for my phone, so tried drawing Articuno (my beloved) as Marahute from The Rescuers Down Under

Having fun so far, let's see if I can really get back into the swing of things in the coming weeks!

Oh that’s such a cute idea! ^^ I think Pauline would get a kick out of DK tickling her belly this way.

Well, not sure if you’re aware of this, but I already wrote a “reimagined” fic using that scene. (With other Nintendo characters, incidentally.) I’d prefer not to use the same scene more than once, if possible; otherwise I would totally do this.
