This recreating the movie moment was not something that I had even thought about myself. A story is behind this one as Marathon Talk a podcast has a kit around the world challenge, wearing the kit around the world!
When in Chicago I was trying to find a great location for a catalogue pose in my Trust the Process Run t-shirt. I decided on the Skydeck in Willis Tower . . .
When Martin Yelling was doing this feature on the podcast he likened the location to that in Charlie and the Chocolate factory with the elevator scene! So I have to not only thank him but also be happy to have another addition to the recreating the movie section! Totally by accident and something I hadn’t even thought of 😂

Lavernius Tucker was not always Lavernius Tucker, in his youth, he was known as Lavi Cohan, a child born in to a war in the country of Israel, Lavi wasn't a normal boy, though, his father was well known for finding a hidden area of the human brain, and Lavi was known in the governments as the test subject.
Lavi was given the power to manipulate time and space, and one day, when Lavi was only twelve years old, he experienced a panic attack, and lost control over the barrier he put around his abilities, he zapped himself forwards in time, and what he saw was not what he expected.
The once great Israel was now in ruins, the land so many people he knew died to protect, the land he was born and raised at, was in ruins, the dusty remains of buildings destroying the green areas he remembered in the desert he knew, the neighborhoods he could navigate with his eyes closed and name every passing cat dog and resident were all destroyed.
The rocket resistance buildings he spent his summers decorating and tidying up with the kids of his neighborhood, knowing they were going to spend their time there, were all destroyed, each small plaything they used to distract themselves from the danger, little kids pretending to not be afraid in the face of possible death every single day...
He spent a week there, scavenging for supplies, before he was found by UNCS soldier and taken to their scientists and psychologists, before he was taken by the Director, who was able to fix Lavi well enough to not manipulate time and space as much if at all.
By the time season 1 rolls in, Lavi is a thirteen year old stuck in a war for his entire life, while the copy rights and missing experiment are sold off to Charon.
This headcanon explains multiple things, for example, why Tucker was able to resist Wyoming's time disruption armor enhancement, why the sword would attach itself to Tucker (I'm willing to bet that at least twenty people tried to take the sword, it's an energy sword, emphasis on energy, if Tucker manages to wield it, it means he has different energy than the rest of the soldiers, I'm pretty sure traveling in time has some effect on your energy.), why he keeps referencing things from the twenty-twenty first century, and why he has trouble with English.
And if we're going in to how this can work in canon, Epsilon hacks some files, possible assists list included, and finds out about Tucker minutes before he's taken by Charon, and well, from that we can go for so many directions, adding some dark themes, a few lows, just imagine it.
First of all I aimed to go to Purbeck Runners club night tonight. But then I read that there was a heavy duty hill repeats session planned and with my timed mile at Magic Mile tomorrow, I didn’t want to do anything too taxing. Plus I still have a vague and general overall tiredness from Sunday’s half marathon!
So I donned my trainers for what was going to be an easy 10k, but I stupidly selected…
