Building a pokémon themed neighbourhood

For my forever save I want to work with themed neighbourhoods. The other night I watched Sid Mac do a 'every room is a different pokémon' build video, which got me excited to add some pokémon builds to my forever world.

I've loved pokémon ever since I was a little girl. I grew up with fire red, sapphire and even crystal (the game boy color one, yes I'm that old). So these builds will all be inspired by Fire Red and the first season of the anime in Kanto.

I want to build:

Pallet town --- apartments

Pewter city gym --- gym

Rocket game corner --- arcade

A pokémon centre + mart if it fits --- residential or apartments

Pokémon tower --- haunted house

Thinking of adding world events

For my forever world I had this idea that could be fun. I want to add world events. This means that every 5 sim-years and every 25 sim-years something happens that affects every sim in the world. Below are my ideas so far. Any suggestions or other creative ideas? My current ideas are pretty grim, something more positive or lighthearted is very welcome too!

Starting a forever world

Oh gosh, I'm starting a forever world. I've never been very good at completing several generations, but I'm in the mood for emotional connection to my game and some theatre and storytelling.

Every forever world needs a diary and a tracker, hence this blog. So feel free to enjoy my forever world stories with me. I also love building and creating sims, so you can also expect some make-overs and builds!

Forever world concept (work in progress, probably forever haha):

The world of Simmia gets a visit from a stranger from the world of Bestia. Bestia is a world where people and animals live side by side as equals and they worship their animals. This stranger has been sent to 'convert' everyone in Simmia and to teach these 'savages' some respect for the animal-side of the world. How do we do this? by converting the royal family of course.

The Goth's have the throne, but not when the Landgraabs have anything to say about that. This stranger arrives in a turbulent society. Will they succeed in their quest? and how many generations will this take?
