Due to not being built like Lou Ferrigno or Arnie the Terminator when falling over its me who comes off worse. In the past 2 weeks during training i’ve hurt myself falling over on 2 training runs which were both coincidentally meant to be 13 milers. This week I badly sprained and grazed my knee.
I fell over for the 2nd time 2 days ago and ended up in A&E. Thankfully yesterday and today were my running rest days. Its feeling better and the top of my knee is painful even with ibuprofen. I am hopeful of returning to training tomorrow and racing on Saturday. Even if I do my knee may still be weaker than normal for several weeks. All my grazes including those on my arm should have healed by Maravan.
Dont want no more close encounters of the pavement kind. They bloody hurt.
