Teddy climbed to the highest point he could reach on Marble Mountain where he found white rocks peaking out through the dense vegetation. More of a hill, it still awarded him with a view of the surrounding town and in the distance the sea.

What made today good?
My friend let me borrow some of her clothes for my interview tomorrow, I figured out some questions to ask my interviewers, and me and my friends figured out our ride situation for our trip in two weeks!
What could you have done to make today even better?
If I’d been able to write out all my math notes, instead of just half of them.
❓Question of the Day❓
What’s something you are excited about?
Well my 21st Birthday is coming up in about 23 days, and a few days before that I’m going to Marble Mountain with my friends, so those are two things I’m pretty pumped about 😊
It was late October when Kelly Weintraub was walking through the Russian Peak Wilderness and the Marble Mountains on her way to Seiad Valley (see www.lifebeyondlyme.wordpress.com). Her effort to complete a section of the PCT she had skipped earlier because of fire closures gave her a glimpse into the trail during a quiet time on the trail with short days, fall colors, and cold nights. She managed to slip in and out between autumn storms and was joined by her father for the final leg into Seiad Valley.
Top photo was taken along Grider Creek, middle left was taken in the Russian Peak Wilderness passing through a fire-damaged forest, middle right was taken near Marble Mountain itself, and the bottom photo was along the high ridges in the Marble Mountains.
