I got here just before sunset. Surprised I accomplished my workload before dark, Timm was fast asleep, we had just had dinner, and it wasn’t raining - I couldn’t find a good enough reason to not go to the beach. It had been nearly a month since my last marble, and I asked the lake to send me up one. I was just talking with local comber @mamauher about how we never find marbles at Grant Beach!!! Today was one of those days where your favorite spot is washed out, just giving you garbage, but when you leave you have enough time to check out another beach before you head home. When you’re greeted with a pocket full of frosties and a few yummy fossils, you know it’s good combing. Today the waves were rippin, and this beach was delivering. I had one of my best glassing days yet this year, perf after perf, so frosty.
