A few fake-outs during my 2min beach clean today (see story) but I kept believing there was one out there for me after a week of fierce storms and high winds. Even after two combers beat me down beach and proudly shared their “if you get out here early” marble finds, I proclaimed that I hope the lake sends me one up today too! @transformedbylakemichigan took me out to find my first Kenosha Roller today! These marbles were used to transport heavy cargo + freight from barges and ships to the local railroad line. I got here just before sunset. Surprised I accomplished my workload before dark, Timm was fast asleep, we had just had dinner, and it wasn’t raining - I couldn’t find a good enough reason to not go to the beach.
