Marc VDS Racing Team set to continue its Racing Programmes following Founder's Death

Following the recent passing of team owner and founder Marc van der Straten, uncertainty surrounded the future of the Marc VDS Racing Team and its various motorsport programmes. However, it has now emerged that the organisation is expected to continue competing for at least the next few years.

Before his passing, Marc van der Straten reportedly established a trust fund to secure the future of his motorsport projects. The fund is understood to be dedicated specifically to supporting the team's racing activities.

Despite this financial backing, reports suggest that a decision may eventually have to be made over which programme to prioritise, with the Moto 2 and World SBK teams the most likely candidates.
