Uncle Tupelo’s 3rd studio album was released on 3 August 1992.
Recorded over the five days that gives the album its title, March 16–20, 1992, the sessions were produced by Peter Buck (who offered his house to the band to save some of the $13,500 they were give by the label).
A collection of originals and traditional covers, March 16–20, 1992 sold more copies than Uncle Tupelo’s first 2 albums combined.
