I also participated in a lolita fashion zine late last year. These were the images I used for my entries (each person in the zine got a page for themself to talk up their hobbies and coordinate, and an entry in an overall chart showing everyone lined up according to their heights; I was pretty solidly average height, by the way).
This dress got damaged at a house party, where a fire pit’s sparks burned a hole through it. The hole was too high to just hem the dress, so instead I added layers of gathered lace. I thought it would be cool to sew a matching dickey and bonnet to go with the repairs!
