Soil clayey with vines 25 years old up to 400 mslm Densità 3300 vines/ha Yield 1,2 kg/Vine Harvest beginning october Vinification soft pressing, fermentation in steel at 28° with frequent pump overs. Maceration for 20 days Ageing 20 months in used barrique and 12 months in bottle @monacesca_1966 4500 bottle/year . . . 👁️Dark Ruby Red with violet reflexions 👃intense and complex, ripe and black fruit, herbs balsamic and spices as pepper and liquorice 👄dry and warm, full body, fresh and sapid with minerals background in an elegant and fresh long persistance . . . First Time I arrived in Pesaro in Marche region, I could not believe that there was a producer with a Doc making Pinot Noir. Marche Is not Pinot Noir area and Is also far from areas devoted to this grape. But the bigger Surprise was that this Pinot Noir that I Tasted either as white wine than as Traditional Methode Is really interesting, complex and enjoyable.
