In the anthology comic Action Comics 272, cover date January 1961, Marvel Maid and Marvel Man were introduced. They were created by Otto Binder and Jim Mooney. Supergirl traveled to Terra, a planet almost, but not exactly, like Earth. On Terra, instead of Supergirl and Superman, they had Marvel Maid and Marvel Man. Instead of coming from the dying planet Krypton, Marvel Maid (Lea Lindy) and Marvel Man (Ken Clark) came from a society that perished under the surface of Terra. Instead of being stuck in suspended animation like Supergirl while Superman grew up, it was Marvel Man who got stuck in suspended animation while Marvel Maid grew up. Lea Lindy worked as a cub reporter. While Ken Clark was actually an inmate at a local prison. Instead of the Daily Planet and Editor in Chief Perry White in Metropolis, the Daily Planet was run by Perry Waite in Marcopolis. Instead of Superman's Fortress of Solitude in the Artic Circle, Marvel Maid had the Fortress of Marvels orbiting the planet. And did I mention that tigerrabbits were a thing there?
