“It is with great pride that we welcome Lorelle Alexina Savard on Monday August 26th, 2013 at 10:54am.”

The news has just come in straight from Marc Savards Facebook;

“She weighed in at 8lbs 1ozs. Wow! She’s ready for kindergarten! She is 20″ long. Mom and baby are super healthy and doing well. Joanna never ceases to amaze me. She was so patient during the process, slowing it all down I think because her Doctor wasn’t available until mid morning today. He was gone all weekend and she didn’t want some stranger. So now that he was back, she stepped on the gas and moved it along. Might be my best hypnotic subject ever! Good control over mind and body. I’ve seen a lot of things in hypnosis, but this impressed me.

We decided on the name Lorelle as it is a combination of our mothers names, my mom is Lorraine, and Joanna’s late mother is Barbara Ellen.

The name Lorelle fits in perfectly with our other daughters Isabel, Renee and Genevieve, and when using just the first letter of each name, it spells out the Acronym G.I.R.L. Not knowing that we’d have 4 girls, and the names happening by chance, why not complete the acronym with a name we love and means a lot to us, right?

The middle name Alexina is my Great Grandmother’s name.

Can’t wait for the world to meet her!”

The news came in after Marc Savard had to take an unexpected hiatus from his regular Sunday Night show, much to fans amusement though the emergency was an expected one!
